It was obvious to Lovino the minute he and Polly started dating that the girl loved Polar bears. Though she wasn't unhealthily obsessed with them, it still got on the boy's nerves when she would pay more attention to her conversions about the mammal with her best friend Matthew then spending time with him, her boyfriend.

What the young Italian didn't seem to know was Polly did it on purpose occasionally, enjoying herself a little too much when it came down to it. Of course, how could she resist the adorable pout he made just because of a bear, especially given her tortuous streak?

"So cute~!" Polly commented, gazing at the Polar Bear plush in her hands. She had expected this sort of present from Gilbert, not Ludwig. Who knew the German was so considerate when it came to gift giving?

Lovino looked up from his presents, amber eyes studying her, only to see Polly gushing at the white ball of fur. He frowned, slightly jealous of the attention the small stuffed animal was getting from her. With a huff, he turned back to the gifts, taking notice of a rather peculiar one.

The young Italian picked it up like it was poisonous, which, of course, proved incorrect. It was just a pair of fluffy white ears that were reminiscent of the animal Polly enjoyed cuddling. It was then that an idea came to him, inviting a smirk to bring it's way across his features.

As Polly began contemplating what to do with all the wrapping paper, only for the torn pieces to be taken from her grasp. She glanced up at the one who did that, trying not to start laughing at the boy before her. Blushing, Lovino moved forward, leaning in close to her.

"Bella Mia~" Lovino whispered as Polly's heart beat sped up at feeling of his breath tickle her ear, as well as his adorable headband. Without warning, he slipped his hands under her legs and held her bridal style, only to fall backwards on the couch with Polly on his lap.

Arms wrapped around his neck, Polly's lips found Lovino's, and she couldn't help but smile into the kiss at the thought of how well her plan went.
