Almost alone, the elder looking Slytherin watched Serverus carefully. Dementors closing in, Snape looked confident, his wand poised and stance aggressive.

Then...

Lucius noticed the faltering tip of the wood and Serverus' head had dipped slightly.

The spell fell, unspoken.

"Don't know happiness," the Slytherin whispered.

Lucius snatched Snape from the whispers and pressed his lips firmly against the man's in his grasp.

"And about bloody time," Serverus gasped, pulling away. He flicked his wand over his shoulder, "Expecto Patronum" uttered itself without trouble and Snape turned back to Lucius.

"You." the blond started, unable to finish.

"Now know happiness."
