A/N: Hello! Me & You will be continuing, I'm just not sure when. So, in the meantime I'm going to start a new multi-chapter fic, and here it is! I got this idea stuck in my head and had to write it. Enjoy! :D
Zosia March is an F2 at Holby City Hospital. Her life is just about as complicated as hacking into the world's most protected computer system. Only those with the best knowledge of it, can understand. She finds herself sat in the peace garden of the hospital often, just to hide away for a while, to get away from her flatmates constantly asking if she's okay, or to just get away from the ward for a while. It was one particular day, when Zosia March was treating a patient that was fiercely protective. This patient was shouting, and causing a stir on Keller. Then, just as Zosia was about to snap, a man wearing a shirt, tie, blazer, some smart pants and expensive looking polished shoes came up. "Is there a problem here?" He asked. Zosia was about to reply when the patient, Alexa, answered first, "Yes I would say there is," Alexa started, "This doctor is being extremely rude to me." The smartly dressed man, rose an eyebrow to the brunette doctor curiously. Alexa looked extremely smug when Arthur Digby, Zosia's flatmate and worrier, came along. "Right, erm, what's the issue?" He asked, in his usual uncertain tone. "I was just sorting that Dr… Digby. Everything's fine." The man spoke up, smiling as he did so. "Right, sorry, who are you exactly?" Digby asked, asking the question floating around Zosia's mind. "Haha, sorry. I should've introduced myself sooner. Josh Black, CEO." He replied shaking Digby's hand. Arthur Digby looked rather confused. "CEO? I thought that our new CEO wasn't starting until next week." Digby stated, confused. "No, I wasn't meant to start until next week, but, the board wasn't satisfied with Serena Campbell running this place longer than she needed to, so here I am." He said smoothly, giving Zosia butterflies.
{Zosia's POV}
Who is this guy? He's kinda cute. I can tell Digby isn't happy though. I managed to stifle a laugh. "So." He turned to me. "What's your side of the story?" He asked me. Confusion flicked across my features before I realised that I was having a tiff with a patient. "Oh right, I was trying to take bloods when Miss Lib refused and I have been trying to convince her since." I explained. I could tell Miss Lib was about to protest when Josh started to talk, "Right, well I don't see that much of an issue here, Miss Lib, please would you do me a favour and take your blood test, it might help us find out what is wrong with you. Plus, I would like an easy first day." He grinned. "Of course, such a charming young man you are." She said to him, at which I rolled my eyes, earning me a smirk from our new CEO. He coughed. "And, Dr…. March, I want to see you in my office at the end of your shift." He said, in a fake stern tone. I nodded. He smiled warmly at me before leaving, towards the lift. I took Miss Lib's blood and found out that she had a bladder infection, so I prescribed her with some antibiotics before discharging her.
A while later I was sat at the nursing station, going through some paperwork when Arthur sat beside me. "What do you think of the new CEO?" He asked, forcing me to look up from my work. "Yeah. He's nice." I replied, going back to the paperwork that Sacha had asked me to do. "I don't really like him, I think he's cocky." Digby told me, which is weird, he never was judgemental. "Right.. Because my dad wasn't." I replied sarcastically. "I guess." He sighed in defeat, "Anyway, Zosia I need a patient transferring to AAU and I wouldn't be asking but Mary-Claire wanted to talk to you. So, I just figured…" He trailed off. "Okay." I huffed, standing up and walking over to the patient. "Hello, my name is Dr March and I'm just here to take you down to AAU." I smiled. The girl just nodded, she looked afraid and couldn't be any older than 17.
"Zosia!" Mary-Claire greeted as I stepped out of the lift. "MC!" I replied, just as enthusiastically. "Aha! Olivia, isn't it? Thanks Zosia." Fletch smiled, I smiled back. "So," MC started. "Have you taken your break yet?" She asked. "Nope." I grinned. Then we went down to the café and ordered two coffees before sitting down at a booth. "It's been too long!" Mary-Claire beamed. "I know." I replied, "We have so much to catch up on, too much for a break, drinks after work?" I asked her. "Did you even need to ask?" The red-head replied, causing us both to laugh. "Have you met the new CEO?" She asked. "YES!" I squealed. "He's fit." We said at the same time, and as a result we burst put into fits of laughter. After we'd calmed down I spoke again. "I swear he was flirting with me." I told her confidently. "No." She said shocked. I nodded, "I have to see him after my shift though. I had a disagreement with a patient earlier. "Ouch." Mary-Claire winced. I smiled, "That's when he was flirting with me though. Afterwards me and MC departed the table and went our separate ways, both equally puzzled at the new CEO.
{End of POV}
Meanwhile, Josh Black, the new CEO, sat at his desk with his head in his hands. It had been a long day. He'd only been on the job 5 hours and he'd already caught 3 pairs of nurses doing what they shouldn't be doing in the linen cupboard. He looked across the wine bottle with a ribbon around it given to him by his sister to congratulate. "God I can't wait to drink that." He muttered. By this point, Zosia's shift was over and she had just finished getting changed when Arthur walked in. "So, are you ready to go to the pub now?" He asked, deciding to go with Zosia to make sure she didn't do anything stupid. Zosia sighed, "Not yet." She told the slightly older doctor. "I need to see the new CEO." Arthur then remembered the events of earlier. "Oh yes." He nodded, "I'll meet you outside then?" He questioned to which Zosia nodded in response. Arthur left and Zosia let out a breath she didn't realise she'd been holding before picking up her bag and texting Mary-Claire telling her she'd meet her there, then made her way up to the CEO's office. 3 knocks is what Josh hears when the F2 arrived. "Come in." He beckoned.
{Zosia's POV}
"Come in." I heard, and entered. "Ahh. Zosia. Mind if I call you that?" He asked politely. "No." I smiled. "Right, well the only reason I called you in here was to keep the patient happy if I'm honest. So, in that sense, you're free to go." He told me, and I turned to leave. "But!" He continued and I sighed. "I would love to get to know you." He finished, leaving me momentarily shocked. "Me?" I asked curiously. "Yes." He replied, "I think you're a very beautiful girl and I want to see what personality you have." I was still slightly shocked by this, but couldn't see the harm. I mean, he only said get to know, nothing else, and he is kind of good looking… "Zosia." He whispered in my ear, interrupting my thoughts. I turned to face him, by this point our lips centimetres apart. A smile spread across his features before our lips crashed together. It was passionate, and he pushed me up against the wall, kissing down my neck and stroking his hands over my body. "Josh." I whispered. "Hmm?" He muttered against my lips. "I'm supposed to be meeting 2 friends." I told him. "Text them." He whispered smiling like a Cheshire cat. I texted both Arthur and Mary-Claire saying something had come up I finished and put my phone down and turned to wear Josh was sat on his desk chair. "Now where were we?" I asked, sitting on his lap. "Here." He whispered, pressing his lips against mine.
