Yay! This'll be my first fan fiction so I hope you'll bear with my poor formatting and lack of experience. I hope to learn to do better! Hope you enjoy:

Ikuto walked down the street, his hand holding his school case over his shoulder. People, girls especially, whispered as he walked by.

"Oh my gosh, is that Tsukiyomi Ikuto? The one known as the 'Cool and Spicy' freshman? He's just as cool and hot as they say he is!"

Ikuto to rolled his eyes. The rumors had been nonstop since he'd transferred to Seiyo Highschool Academy.

As he turned the corner, he found a girl in his school's uniform being harassed by a couple of seniors. It looked like they were trying to extort her out of her lunch money. How petty. They were blocking his path.

"Hey. You're in my way. Move."

The students turned away from the girl to face him, looking ticked as hell. When they caught sight of his face, both paled.

"Crap. Is that Tsukiyomi Ikuto?!" one of them asked in panicked voice. He then started listing off random rumors about him defeating the entire Seiyo soccer team and such.

The other guy shot the girl one hateful look as he said, "Let's get out of here," and ran. Getting to the end of the alley, he turned shouting, "You won't get so lucky next time Suzuki." Finally he retreated out of sight.

"Wow," the girl squealed, "OMG I, Suzuki Seiichira, am absolutely your biggest fan, Ikuto-sama! Can I get your autograph?!"

Ikuto merely looked down at the girl. Then laughed.

"What are you talking about? You're in my way too. Scram."

The girl moved out of the way squealing something about being "Cool and Spicy" again, jumping up and down.

Ikuto sighed and took a deep breath. He was nervous. If only I could have enough courage to show everyone how I actually feel.

He walked on.

Soon, the day was over and rumors of him kept getting more and more exaggerated.

Eating dinner with his family, Ikuto laughed at how inaccurate the rumors about them being a prestigious magazine editor and a famous fashion photographer were. He turned his attention to the TV.

"Guardian characters are everywhere! They will answer your deepest wishes and dreams," ranted the fortune teller on the TV screen.

Ikuto abruptly sat up. "Sorry, I'm done," he said as he left for his room. He hear his parents say the phrase again as he left. Cool and Spicy!

That night, Ikuto looked up into the deep blue sky and wished for the courage to express his inner self before falling asleep.

Ugh. Ikuto rolled over as something seemed to poke him in the back. It was probably one of Iki's toys [[Just so you know and to avoid confusion, Iki will be replacing Ami in these stories]]. He sighed and rolled over again. So damn uncomfortable.

Finally, he gave in and got up. Lifting the covers he nearly jumped out of shock. There lay three eggs, each the size of his fist, intricately designed with a different pattern. One with red hearts, one with blue spades, and one with green clovers. Panicking, Ikuto paced across the room, thinking of different reasons they might be there. He could think of none, at least none that were sane. About to go get help, he placed his hand on one of them.

They were warm.

He sighed, placing them in a satchel. They were his. He would take care of them and wait until they hatched.

Later that day, there was an assembly hosted by the student council, otherwise known as the Guardians, to welcome old students back to the school and new students into the school.

As soon as the Guardians walked in, there were screams and squeals everywhere. Girls swooned over the "King" and "Jack", Tadase and Kukai. While the boys admired the "Queen" and "Ace", Nadeshiko and Yaya. He sighed, and went to take a look for himself. There, he saw a gorgeous purple-haired girl. She smiled, and composedly walked towards the stage along with the other Guardians.

"Welcome, students, to Seiyo High. I'm Hotori Tadase and I'll be your student council president! Also here to welcome you are the rest of the Guardians. May I introduce Yaya, Kukai, and Nadeshiko."

The crowd went wild.

Nadeshiko, ever so gracefully, took the mic after Tadase. "Yes, welcome. I hope you all enjoy your time here at Seiyo High as your student council vice president."

Nadeshiko. If only he had the courage, he might be able to confess to her sometime this year. Ikuto's hand suddenly went into the air.

Nadeshiko smiled and called on him politely.

"Nadeshiko, I think you're really pretty and was wondering if you would go out with me!" Where the hell did that come from? This was not like him.

"Sorry, I have someone I already like," she stated flatly, giving him an apologetic look.

Crap. Ikuto lowered his hand and ran. Where to? He didn't know. He just had to get out of there. Whispers and gossip surrounded him as he bolted out of the auditorium, the assembly still in progress.

Yes. Amu smiled as she leaped over the school gate, lock in hand. Yora giggled gleefully as they escaped the Royal Garden together. That was a piece of cake.

Dusting off her hands, Amu walked away from the school gates. Turning around, she noticed that Yora had came to a stop outside the school.

"What's up Yora?" Amu asked, somewhat bored.

Yora grinned. "I smell eggs-nya."

Amu smirked at this. Looks like today isn't going to be so boring after all.

Ikuto ran. He had made a fool of himself. Why? That wasn't him. He would never have the guts to do that before. What had happened to him?

Abruptly, the ground below Ikuto disappeared. Gasping, he fell, hard. It seemed like he had managed to somehow end up in a hole of some sort in the construction sight. What the heck is with my luck today?

"Hey! Help! Anyone there?" he called out, but of course, there was no one there.

Suddenly, the red egg in his bag seemed to start to hatch. What the hell?! Jumping out of the satchel, a small character popped out of the egg. Ikuto observed the small creature. It seemed to be a miniature version of himself dressed in a set of red workout clothes.

"Who the heck are you?" Ikuto asked with nothing better to do. Hey, if he was going to start seeing things, better to do it where no one could see.

"I'm you're Shugo Chara, Rin," it said.

Well, I'm suck here. Might as well talk.

"You're not stuck!" Rin said, laughing. With a smile, the small gymnast raised an arm, and Ikuto's shoes grew wings. "Up, up, up," Rin urged gleefully as Ikuto seemingly floated with every step he took. Ikuto felt as light as a feather and tried jumping. Maybe I can make it out of this hole. He bent his knees and then jumped.

Up, up, up he did soar. Too far up. Ikuto yelped as he landed on a bunch of construction scaffolding.

"What the hell did you do to me?!" Ikuto yelled, holding on for dear life.

"Nothing. This is merely your would-be-self. I'm here to help you become who you aspire to be!" Rin explained.

"That's cute, but can't you get me down from here and turn me back to normal?" Ikuto obviously didn't believe him.

"Hey."

Ikuto looked up at the voice to find a pink haired girl with cat ears. She nimbly jumped down from the higher scaffolding perch to right in front of him and smiled charmingly.

Sudddenly, a small character came out from behind her and sniffed the air. "They're in there, Amu," it said, pointing to his bag.

"Watch out, Ikuto! They're trying to steal yo—" Rin never finished his sentence as Amu flicked him away.

"Now, how about we take those off your hands." Amu swiftly took the other two eggs out of the bag and held them up teasingly.

"Those are mine," Ikuto said menacingly, letting go of the pole he had been clinging to and jumping at Amu.

Amu cried out in surprise and lost her grip on the eggs, accidently letting them tumble out of her hands. Ikuto took one look and jumped after them, holding them to his chest as he fell backwards from the building. Amu stared in horror as he fell.

So, if you read this story originally, it was three chapters. Now, I merged them into one. It should be pretty much the same content but if you think I need to make any changes, let me know!

Anyway, to clear confusion:

Yora=Yoru (Amu's Shugo Chara)

Rin= Ran (Ikuto's Shugo Chara)

(And in the future):

Miku=Miki (Ikuto's Shugo Chara)

San=Su (Ikuto's Shugo Chara)

I've decided to add a little twist to make the story stray from the original sometime soon (When? You'll have to see for yourself :P). Anyway, I really wanna hear your comments (and definitely need your reviews) about the story! I hope you like it.

Any suggestions are appreciated! (Btw I have finished watching the whole anime, so feel free to talk about the future of the characters with me!) Also, I'd like an opinion. With Amu in Ikuto's position, do you guys think I should make a male version of Utau, or stick with her being female? Please comment your choices! ;D

P.S. The rating on this will likely change. For now, I'm thinking on keeping it at T.

P.P.S. Yes, I've decided to make Ikuto, Tadase, Nadeshiko, Kukai, and Yaya highschoolers! As for Amu, I've decided on making her a middleschooler. I hope you don't mind.

I'd also like to thank Magical girl4 for taking time to review my posts. She gave me a ton of good advice that I will (hopefully) be able to put to good use.
