The Fast and The Furious: Midnight Pursuit
Dominic Toretto sat in his black 1970 Dodge Charger on Sunset Blvd at 11:59 at night. He was waiting for the green light to go. He looked over. Brian, Mia, and Letty were in there cars. Dominic focused on the light. He and Brian were now equals in the street racing business. Brian had left the LAPD and was back into racing. He looked over at Brian. Brian looked back. Mia and Letty looked at Dom too. Tension rose between them all. Dom looked back at the light. He had been in this position before so many times, it was like breathing to him. What's with this light? It's taking forever. Suddenly, it changed green.
They all hit the gas. Dom's Charger lifted it's two front tires off the ground, and they sped off. Dominic was switching gears vigorously. Brian was doing it too, but he paid more attention to the road, trying not to hit anyone. The street wasn't closed, so they had to be careful. Dom was in first, Brian second, Letty third, and Mia in fourth. Letty was going at about 80 when who looked like a blind man walked in the middle of the road. Letty noticed he was in Mia's way too. Letty looked to her left. Perfect. A car towing ramp. Mia and Letty both went for it.
Letty accidentally bumped Mia, so they ended up flying off the ramp, to the right. They flew threw the air. Brian and Dom were shell-shocked below. The girl's cars flew on the roof. They were bashing threw cement fences, flying off the roof and onto the next. They were conveniently placed, going slowly down. Mia pushed on the gas, going 130 towards the end of the line of houses. Letty copied. They looked at each other, grinning. The end came, and they both flew off the rooftops. They landed on the top of the roof of a gas station. It was an old, unsupported one. The impact smashed the roof down. The cars were off of it by the time it smashed the store. Then, boom! The gas tanks exploded. The explosion was frightening. They went back onto Sunset. Dom and Brian were neck and neck. Their finish line was only a quarter mile away. Dom hit 150, but Brian was at 170 now, and started to pass Dom.
"No way, Brian". Dom hit his Nos. Brian watched him speed off. Letty and Mia were beside Brian now.
"Too soon, Dom". Brian hit his Nos. He sped past Dom, who was now agitated. Letty hit her Nos now, going past them both. Letty was less than 40 meters from the line. Mia refused to come last. Mia got her fingers ready.
"See ya, guys". She hit both buttons at once, pushing her car to the max. She went twice as fast as the others, and sped across the finish line, in first. She slowed down and braked. She got out of her car once it stopped. The others skid to a stop, with all three cars side to side, all leaning sideways. They put their heads out, amazed.
"Sorry guys".
