Chuck lay in his bed, waiting for Blair to come back from answering her cell phone call from Serena that she had just received. While waiting he let his body sink down into the mattress, his eyes closed as he reminisced about his day. About one part of it in particular, the part where he finally told Blair the three words that she has been waiting to hear from him for far too long. He smiled slightly thinking about her reaction, and his as well. He wasn't expecting for it to be so easy, so true, to feel so free like. Letting her know that he truly does care for her was like letting the weight of the world fall off of his shoulders. He could finally be with her now, and he wouldn't hurt her any longer. He was sure of it, now that he could openly admit to his feelings not only to Blair but to himself as well he finally understood just how strongly he feels towards her. I'm madly in love with her, he thought to himself smiling. He loved every single thing about her too. Her determination, deviousness, soft brunette hair, luscious lips, her incredible body, her style, and her passion. He loved her for her, and he knew she felt the same towards him which every time he thought of sent a soaring feeling throughout his body. He then heard Blair walking back into his bedroom, interrupting his thoughts and causing him to re-open his eyes. He took one look at her and couldn't help but smile.
"Is everything alright with that lovely sister of mine?" Chuck then asked smirking. He knew it drove Serena crazy whenever he referred to her as his sister, and he knew that Blair just found it silly.
She laughed softly before responding, "Yes, everything's fine. But apparently Gossip Girl's faster than I thought. We're already all over her website, and Serena just wanted to check in on what's going on."
Hearing Blair say this Chuck chuckled quietly, "Oh Gossip Girl, she is crafty.."
Blair smiled and crawled back into the bed, cuddling right back up to Chuck's side.
"So are you no longer upset with Gossip Girl either?" she asked smiling as he wrapped his arms around her body, pressing her closer to him.
"Nope, all is peaceful with Chuck Bass"
Blair smiled again and kissed his chest softly, before looking back up at him.
"Good, I'm glad," But before Blair could say anymore Chuck leaned his head down to kiss her softly on the lips.
A long while later, Chuck and Blair were gripping to each other's sweaty bodies under the sheets after making love for what seemed like the hundredth time that night.
"Blair.." Chuck said softly.
"Yes?" she responded back with the same soft tone.
"I love you,"
"Oh, Chuck! I love you too, and I'm so happy that we're finally together now" "
Me too, love. Me too."
And then the rest of the night continued on, Chuck and Blair telling each other absolutely everything, while outside the New York streets were busy with it's usual traffic and partying. And for once, everything just felt right. Even more than right, perfect.
