"Welcome to art class for Technicians. ~" Blair said with a cute smile. "I'm Miss Blair; and I'll be teaching you!"
Among the techs, were Maka, Death the Kid and Black Star. On the table in front of them were blank sheets of paper, a pencil and an eraser. Maka sighed. At least Soul isn't here to bleed everywhere because of Blair.
"To start off, do some free-style drawing!" Blair said. "I'm going to get some stuff; so be right back. ~" The purple-haired woman skipped out the door; closing it behind her with a secure click. The techs began to quietly sketch; and the sound of pencils scraping against paper filled the air. "Well, let's get started." Maka said quietly; picking up her pencil.
After around 10 minutes, Maka had drawn a cat jumping down from a tree. "Now for the details." She murmured; carefully drawing jagged stripes along the back of the cat. She glanced over at Kid's paper. She couldn't believe it. For the past ten minutes, Kid had drawn one circle. Just one. And he was still concentrating on it. His face was a few inches away from the paper; as he shakily dragged his pencil around the faint outline of the circle, hastily erased it, drew it again, erased it, drew it, and erased it. "It's no use! It's not symmetrical!" He wailed. Maka sighed. Same old Kid. She looked at Black Star's picture. It was a drawing of him standing on the edge of a cliff wearing a crown; being hailed by many people below. He saw Maka staring at it. "Isn't it great, Maka? It's a picture of the future!" Black Star said proudly.
"Eh…of course, Black Star." Maka said awkwardly; looking back at her drawing. She did some soft shading for the cat's eyes; adding a slit for the pupil. However, she could barely concentrate with Kid's constant muttering, his pencil scratching against the paper and then the table shaking when he smashed his eraser against the paper to erase the lines. "Kid, honestly, what are you drawing? You've been drawing the same circle for almost twelve minutes! And you've almost worn the eraser down to nothing!"
"I was drawing…I was drawing you, Maka." Kid said quietly. "That's why it must be perfect!"
Maka felt herself blush. Damn Kid; making me blush! "J-Just hurry up and draw something! Or Blair might scold you for wasting time."
Kid didn't pay attention. He was concentrating on the paper. When he once again drew a circle that wasn't to his liking, tears sprang to his eyes. "It's no good…" He sniffled. "No use! I can't draw a circle that's suitable for Maka's head!" He began to erase it again; sobbing quietly. However; after being erased so many times, the eraser tore through the paper; making a large rip in the sheet. Kid froze. "Gyaaaaaahhh!" He screeched shrilly, coughing out blood and collapsing on the floor.
"Huh? Damn it, Kid! You passed out again!" Maka sighed. "Hey, Black Star; what should we do?"
"I dunno; tell Miss Blair?"
"She won't be back for a while. She's probably flirting with a guy." Maka muttered.
"Whatever; just leave him there. I don't know why Kid even signed up for this class. He spits out blood and passes out from something slightly asymmetrical!"
And so, the class ended a half an hour later. Kid was left lying there; because everyone, and Liz and Patty forgot to go and get him. So instead, Maka sent Soul to go get him and drop him off at Shinigami-sama's office. Moral of the story? Never let Kid be in an art class.
A/N: Jsngsljnhsifnsirnkbf; this was a little story; nothing too exciting. I'm really lazy and tired from my classes; which are extremely boring. _ I hope it wasn't too bad, reviews would be appreciated to help me do better in writing Soul Eater fanfics. I'm currently watching the anime and reading the manga; so I'm getting there! And that's it. Oh, and I don't own Soul Eater. Doomsday Raven; out! ~
