A/N: Hey everyone, Kiki here. This is my first post here, so be gentle! I bruise easily! This is my take on why Kyuubi attacked Konoha in the first place
Disclaimer: Naruto does not belong to me, damn the Fates for thwarting me again. Ashei, however, is mine, so no stealing!!!!
His eyes glowed a deep crimson; his fangs gleamed in unholy light. His claws flexed, anger coursing through his veins. They had taken his mate, his kits. The humans had taken his world, and now he intended to destroy theirs. Nine tails waved back and forth furiously.
"My mate!" he roared, "my kits!" His voice disappeared, becoming an angry snarl, a vicious sound. He was a proud, powerful beast, and nothing would stand in his way. He leapt over boulders and treetops, following the scent of the humans who had entered his home and killed his pregnant mate. The Village Hidden in the Leaves loomed in the distance. The murderers were there. They had killed her, his beautiful, innocent Ashei. They had killed the innocent kits that had been growing in her womb. He crashed through the outside wall, which may as well have been constructed out of toothpicks, it was so easily destroyed by his great might and anger. Humans attacked, their pathetic weapons barely scratching, only serving to make him angrier. Sorting through the hundred of scents, the great demon found those humans he was looking for. With a roar of victory and fury, he lunged, swallowing the screaming men, crushing their bones and relishing in the thought of them melting in the corrosive acids of his stomach. Then HE was there. The most powerful of the humans. His attacks were painful and effective. The great demon struck back, mortally wounding the human. Thinking the battle won, the great fox turned, intent on returning to the forest, in great need of healing rest. A strange sensation overcame the demon. Blood red eyes widened, realization dawning. Turning quickly, he tried to get to the slowing dying human, the one who was trying to seal him. Too late. An oppressing darkness overcame him, swallowed him. There, in that darkness, the Kyuubi would wait.
