Caramel Curse

In an ancient temple two young girls were fixing to do a magic ritual to obtain some delicious golden caramel candies. The girls were named Abby and Henrietta and they were both friends who loved candy. The two had heard about the temple and the ritual about the golden caramels that could be created during certain times. The legends they read also told the girls that they needed to sacrifice a part of themselves in order to get the candy and warned them to be careful, because if they weren't they would lose that part of themselves. Abby was a bit worried about that part, while Henrietta simply just brushed it aside and said she had confidence that they could easily undo the spell and not lose part of themselves. Soon the two girls were performing the ritual. Henrietta poured a bunch of sugar to form a circle with strange symbols and stood in the center of it. She gave Abby a salute and a wave, before she vanished in a flash of light. When the light cleared Abby saw a fat boy standing in Henrietta place with five pieces of candy right in front of him. Abby's jaw just hung opened in shock as Henrietta put her hands on the fat gut.

"So the ritual made...me fat? Wait...what's wrong with my voice?" Said Henrietta..

Abby handed Henrietta a hand mirror and watched as her friend saw their reflection.

"I'm ugly and a boy!" Cried Henrietta.

Henrietta then turned her back to Abby and their was the sound of a zipper being zipped down. Abby quickly faced the opposite direction as she heard Henrietta scream and followed by the sound of a zipper being zipped up.

"I'm...a boy." Muttered Henrietta looking incredible pale.

"Will...figure something out Henrietta. I'm sure there's a way to fix this." Said Abby.

"Don't call me that! Henrietta was a beautiful girl. I'm...a boy and my name is...Heinrich."

"Ok...Heinrich let's take a look at the candy and see if we can find any clues on how to fix you." Said Abby.

The two looked at the candy and they noticed pictures of Henrietta inscribed on one of the cube's sides. Heinrich picked up one cube and put it in his mouth. A look of absolute satisfaction and bliss appeared on Heinrich's face as he ate the candy, swallowed it, and shoved another into his mouth.

"Can I have one?" Asked Abby.

"NO!" Yelled Heinrich as he continued eating.

Abby was a bit startled by the outburst, but realized that her friend might be under the influence of the curse. She realized if Heinrich ate all the candy, his current form would be permanent. Abby stealthily grabbed one of the candies and replaced it with a regular one. She then began to quickly walk away as Heinrich ate all the candies. Heinrich noticed Abby was gone and that he was still a boy. He began to cry and curse at his own misfortune and his friend abandoning him, completely unaware that Abby was helping him and planning to undo the curse. It would be five years until the curse was undone and Abby and Henrietta became friends again.

The End.
