Hey guys! I'm IcyHeart12 and welcome to my first story on fanfiction! This is my first time writing a story so don't be surprise to see a lot of grammar errors. I hope this story doesn't come out to bad. I'll make sure to improve on it in future chapters. Izuku probably will be OOC. And keep in mind for future chapters that I'm terrible at writing fight scenes.

Izuku watches as All Might was talking to the news reporters, after seeing him defeat the sludge villain, before letting out a sigh and walking away to go home. Having just been scolded by Death Arms, Kamui Woods, and a death glare from Bakugo. He was about ready to collapse any moment.

"This day couldn't possibly get any worse." Izuku thought as he walks down the street into a small neighborhood.

Walking down the sidewalk with his head down in despair. The words of All Might echoes in his mind, interrupting his thoughts.

"No, I don't think you can become a hero without a quirk."

Izuku quivering slightly, his eyes flicker a bright green for a moment. He let out a shaky breathe, the flickering in his eyes gone. He walks faster as his shaking got worse.

"You're even worse than these damn rejects! You quirkless wannabe!

Izuku felt his eyes water, vision getting blurry, and wiping them away before they could fall. His burned notebook in his bag was one of the constant reminder of this bad day. He groans remembering he has to come back to school tomorrow.

Izuku felt little relief to see his apartment building and ran to get home quicker. Upon arriving to his apartment door, he simply stares at it. His shaking was now noticeable, his mind a complete mess. He sighs as he reaches the handle and opening the door.

"M-Mom, I'm home!" he calls out, his voice faltered as he drops his bag and closes the door behind him.

"Izuku!" Inko came in with a smile wanting to greet her son, only to see a despair look on his face and shaking uncontrollably. Her expression changes instantly to one of worry as she was in front of him in a second. Cupping his face and bringing him close for a hug. "Izuku, are you okay? What happen?!

Inko leading him to the living room to sit on the couch.

Izuku tries smiling but couldn't find the strength to. He rubs his eyes, wiping incoming tears. "I-I'm fine, mom. It's just...a bad day."

Inko looks in worry knowing her son was going through a lot in his mind. Placing a firm hand on his own, offering warmth and comfort. She spoke in the softest voice she could muster at the moment. "You can tell me anything Izuku, dear. I'm here to listen. It's not good to keep everything bottled up."

Izuku stares at his mother as his eyes water up, shaking more. "I..."

"Fucking Useless Deku!"

Izuku felt tears going down his cheeks. "I-I..."

"Do you really think someone like you can get in when they can have me!"

He took a deep breathe, trying to calm himself down only to backfire on him as he felt more tears, feeling closer to a breakdown. "I hate..."

"You're Quirkless! What the hell can you even do?!"

"No, I don't think you can become a hero without a quirk."

"Just pray you'll be born with a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof."

Izuku couldn't hold it in anymore and let out a cry as tears were filling up his eyes, sobbing loudly. He buries his face into his hands. "I HATE IT HERE!"

Inko could feel her heart breaking as she watches her son breakdown. She pulls him into a hug, trying to comfort him. Unknown to her that her sons eyes were flickering bright green.

"I HATE IT! I HATE KACCHAN...I HATE BAKUGO!" He yells as he cries in his mother's arms. Trying to breath as he sobs, unaware his eyes were flickering rapidly. "H-He's...He's been bullying me since we were kids! When he found out I was Quirkless! He started beating me! He calls me Deku...Deku because I'm useless!"

Inko could feel tears in her eyes but didn't allow them to fall. "No! You need to be strong for him!"

Izuku began to breath rapidly as he slowly falls off the couch onto the floor, out of his mothers hold. "All Might told me I couldn't be a hero because I'm Quirkless! Bakugou was right!" he let out a loud sob. "I'm sorry mom! I just didn't want him to get in trouble because I thought he was my friend!" he slams his fist on the floor.

He let out a scream of agony as he felt a extreme pain in his head. He grabs his head as he felt like someone was squeezing his brain, eyes shut tightly. Not hearing his mother telling him to calm down.

Suddenly, the couch and the tv wiggled for a moment before they started floating, then one by one, surrounding objects were floating as well. A green aura was flickering around his hands and body.

Inko soon finds herself starting to hover in the air, floating around like the objects in the room. She looks at him with a panic look, "Izuku! Calm down!"

Her words were unheard, Izuku couldn't hear her over the sounds of his screams. He faces up to the ceiling and lets out one last scream of agony. Eyes shot open, no longer flickering, glowing so brightly that his pupils weren't visible. A bright shiny aura surrounding his hands and body.

The objects and Inko were raise higher, nearly hitting the ceiling. Inko looks at her son, who stood frozen as the green aura around him flares. Izuku hovering a few feet off the ground.

She then came to a realization.

Her son's quirk has finally manifested.

"How is this possible?! The doctor said he wasn't going to get a quirk! No time for thinking! I gotta calm him down! His quirk might get more out of control." Inko shakes her head and takes a deep breathe before yelling, "Izuku!"

He breaths for air, as if he was underwater for a long time, eyes turning back to normal the green aura that was surrounding him gone. Causing everything around him drop with a bang. Izuku falling to his knees.

Inko screaming as she was quickly falling. Izuku quickly reaches out his hand and unintentionally uses his quirk to stop her from falling. Eyes flickering green again and an aura rapidly flickering around his hand.

Inko stops screaming as soon as she felt herself perfect still. Shaking slightly in the air as she was only a few inches from hitting the floor face first.

She was slowly turn upright and was place gently on her feet. Inko looks over to her son. "Izuku?"

He stares at her wide-eyed before the glowing aura vanishes and he collapse.

"Izuku!" she yells as she ran over to him getting on her knees. "Come on, honey get up." she shakes him gently.

Izuku didn't move, completely out-cold. Inko carefully tries to pick him up, but it felt more like dragging. "Don't worry Izuku. I'll take care of you."

Inko carefully lays him on the couch. She grabs one of the couch pillows from the floor and puts it under his head. Quickly running to the closet to grab a spare blanket. "So you don't get cold." she places the blanket over him.

She stares at him for a moment, thinking to herself in worry. "I never thought my son would get a quirk but...what exactly is his quirk? Maybe someone out there has a quirk like his too and can teach Izuku how to use it." she thought back to what Izuku said.

"I HATE IT HERE"

Inko took a glance at her son, worry in her eyes. Remembering what he yelled about Bakugou. "Maybe, It's best if we move...somewhere else. Start over and hopefully this will be better."

She looks over at the house phone on the wall. Debating whether or not to call her childhood friend. "Oh, we haven't spoken to each other in years. But I need help, I need to help my son. I just hope he remembers me and helps me."

The next day, Izuku slowly opens his eyes. Blinking several times as he sits up slowly, groaning slightly. He looks out the window to see it was morning. He looks over to the clock on the wall, 7:20!

He panics. "I'm gonna be late for school!"

He runs to his room but stops to look for his bag. Only to stop when he saw the mess. "What happened?"

His first instinct was to look for his mom and see if she was alright.

He goes over to her room, walking down the hallway about to open her door until he hears her talking to someone. Izuku presses his head close to the door. "Who is she talking to?"

He slowly opens the door to see her sitting on the bed.

"Do you know anyone who can help him?" She asks, whoever she was talking to asked her something." I can only teach him to lift small objects but Izuku has a quirk that is much more powerful than mine. I can tell it's more than just telekinesis."

Izuku jaw drops, did he hear that right? "I have a quirk!"

He quietly closes the door and went to his room. He got on his bed and sat there in thought. "I have a quirk?! But...that's impossible! I'm 14! How come I just got it now! The doctor said I couldn't have a quirk! Could he have been wrong... Wait! What is my quirk?" He thought about what his mom said, she could only teach him to lift small object and more powerful than her's.

He looked at his All Might action figure, it brought him back to what he said.

"No, I don't think you can become a hero without a quirk."

He shakes his head. "No time to think about that."

He stretches out his hand, focusing on the figure.

It didn't move.

He tries focusing harder.

It moves slightly.

He focuses on it but this time he lifts his hand up slightly. His eyes glowing and a green aura surrounding his hand.

The All Might figure shakes slightly before it slowly starts floating up.

His eyes widen as it floats. It was just floating in one place. "I did it! I was able to lift it! Okay...I lifted it up. So how do I bring it to me?"

He looks at his hand and then back at the figure. He yanks his hand back and only for the All Might figure to slam into his face.

The aura and glow disappeared instantly. "Ow!" He rubs his nose as he looks down at the figure. "That was a bad idea. Next time I should pull more slowly."

"Izuku?"

He turn to the door to see his mom. She looks at him with a slightly worried face as she approaches him and sat next to him on his bed. "I see you found out how to lift small objects without me...but you need to be careful. You don't want to hit your face again with anything else."

Izuku looks at her, wondering why she suddenly looks nervous. "Mom, what's wrong?"

Inko sigh as she places her hands on his shoulders. "Izuku, you know how much I love you and I would do anything to protect you."

Izuku looks at her in confusion before remembering what he told her yesterday. Did it have to do with Kacchan? Or All Might?

His mother seem to hesitate to tell him something. "Izuku...we're moving to the U.S."

Izuku eyes widen as he sat up straight. "What! Why?!"

"Izuku...with your quirk it's not safe to be around Bakugou or the others. Your quirk could get out of control due to fear or stress. I have a friend in the U.S who already brought us a house and found you a mentor. "

"But what about school?!" he yells slightly.

"You're going to be home schooled." she smiles slightly. "I don't want to move either but I think it's best for you." she frowns as she looks down. "I know I haven't been supportive of you wanting to become a hero. I was afraid something would happen to you...because you're all I have."

Inko took his hands and smiles. "But now...I don't have to worry. You have a special quirk and your going to learn how to control it."

Izuku eyes widen realizing what she was trying to say.

"You can become a hero, Izuku."
