Ok - Firstly - ITS SOMEThING GLEE THAT I HAVE DONE THAT'S NOT KURTISH!
For people that know me that's a really big thing
Here is a short fic for Artie and Tina - because they are just too cute!
I don't own Glee, Tina, Artie or The Kooks or their music
Enjoy!
Artie rolled into the choir room to play some guitar to calm himself down and think. Mainly about Tina. Lately she had been looking really down and he didn't know why.
When he got into the room, he noticed Tina sitting in the back of the room, staring into space.
"Hey, whats up?" he asked, wheeling over to her
Tina started, only seeming to notice him when he spoke. She pulled her hair back into a ponytail and sighed
"Nothing, just...Artie...do you think I look...freaky?" she asked, smiling a little on the last word.
Artie looked surprised. Tina had always seemed so confident about herself and the way she looked, perhaps more so after the whole Figgins and the Vampire paranoia thing.
"No, of course not! Why would you think that?" he asked, looking concerned
"Well I was just thinking about what Principle Figgins said a couple of weeks ago and I was thinking, maybe he's right, even if his method was like Communism." she said, looking down.
Artie thought that he had to do something to cheer her up. He looked around the room and saw an acoustic guitar and an idea came to him.
"Tina, listen to me for a sec, you are perfect." And with that he picked up the guitar and started to sing,
Safety pins holding up the things
That make you mine
About your hair, you needn't care,
You look beautiful all the time.
Tina looked up and smiled sweetly at him,
Shine, shine, shine on
Yes
Wont you shine, shine on
Your magazines, at people at the seams
But you still read
I must admit, I don't believe in it
But I see how you get sucked in
Shine, shine, shine on
Yes
Wont you shine, shine on
(Sha la la la)
Shine, shine, shine on
Yes
Wont you shine, shine on
Because your not done
Why do you bite the hand that feeds you
Why do you
Why do you bite the hand that feeds...you!
As he played the instrumental, Artie grinned at Tina, who was swaying in her chair, looking a lot happier than before
Shine, shine, shine on
Yes
Wont you shine, shine on
(Sha la la la)
Shine, shine, shine on
Yes
Wont you shine, shine on
Safety pins holding up the things
That make you mine
About your hair, you needn't care
You look beautiful all the time
"Thank's Artie, really." Tina said, walking over to him, before bending down and kissing him sweetly.
"I meant it. You do look beautiful all of the time." Artie said, and with that they both walked out of the choir room, feeling decidedly more happy
