Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling does.

Ginny was the most starstruck girl in the world. Everyone knew it. Although she would never admit it, Harry Potter made her fall head over heels in love. He was so perfect, his curly hair, his beautiful green eyes, his lightning scar on his forehead, it all made her feel like she was floating. Ginny stared at him when he left with Ron on the train. She was so jealous of him. He got to spend an entire year with Harry. Together, having fun, sharing jokes. Ginny really did wish it was her who was going on the train with Harry Potter, but she knew that would never happen. Ginny was just some girl, the sister of Harry's best friend. Nothing more. She wasn't anyone special. Hermione beat her out for that. She was so close to Harry, sometimes Ginny was nervous that Harry would fall in love with her, but he never did. He always acted like a brother toward Hermione.

Ginny knew that there were a ton of witches in the Wizard World that were in the same position as she was when it came to her infatuation with the famous Harry Potter, but she wished she was the only one. She still remembered the time where Harry came over to her house before her 1st year.

Ginny Weasley rushed down the stairs of her home, looking frantically for something, but not able to find it. She went up and down the stairs of the Burrow multiple times, searching every room, but there was still one she hadn't looked through, Ron's. She realized that if anyone had taken her brand new set of Self-Shuffling Cards, it had to be Ron. She'd already searched through the rest of the rooms, and that was the only place left that they could be.

Ginny peaked through the door of Ron's bedroom, her eyes flitting right to the boy sleeping on the bed. It wasn't Ron. It was Harry. Ron was on the ground, face buried in her cards, of course. Ginny continued to eye at Harry's beautiful face, which the sun was shining very brightly upon, giving it an unnaturally warm glow. She feared that if the light shone in his face long enough, it would wake him uncomfortably. She wanted to grab her camera to snap a picture of Harry's glowing face, but she truly didn't want to wake him. She tiptoed around Ron and closed the blinds of the window. When she went to exit the room, she took another glance back at Harry, still sleeping soundly on Ron's bed. She heard Ron mumble from the floor and jumped, squealing a little bit in shock. Ron grumbled as he pulled one of Ginny's cards that had gotten stuck to him overnight off of his cheek and looked up at his little sister.

"What're you doing here, Ginny? Watching your love?" Ron asked her.

"Shhh..." Ginny said, not wanting to wake up Harry, "And no. I came to get my Self-Shuffling Playing Cards, thank you very much. Not that I'm sure that I want them back, though," she told him.

"Oh, sure. That's all you were doing," he said knowingly. Something told her that he'd always remember that she'd had a crush on the Wizarding World superstar, Harry Potter, and so would she. She'd never be able to get his smile, his eyes, the way he looked when he slept, out of her mind.

And inside, she knew she never wanted to.

Hope you enjoyed!
