Summary: Conversations with little kids. Always fun.

"Whatcha doing?"

Don paused, pulling his toothbrush out of his mouth. "Cleaning my teeth."

"Why?"

He paused again. "So they're healthy."

"Why?"

That got a roll of his eyes. "So they don't fall out."

He finished cleaning and spat, before rinsing his mouth and spitting again.

"My daddy does that. You're copying my daddy."

Don wiped his mouth with the towel before tackling the latest turn in three-and-a-half year old conversation. "Your daddy copies me. I'm older than he is, I did it first."

That produced an obstinate set to the curly-haired terror's jaw. "No you're not."

"Yes, I am."

Robin appeared in the doorway, saving him from the conversation. "Hey, kiddo, why don't you go and join your brother?" She gave the child a gentle shove out of the room and there were running footsteps down the hall and a high pitched 'brmm' sound. Robin leaned back out into the hall. "Don't run down the stairs!"

"Why do we want one of those again?" Don said with a grin. Robin punched him in the arm. "Ow!"

"It's a bit too late to change your mind now."

His smile softened as he looked at her belly. Yep, most definitely too late.
