AUTHOR'S NOTE: I just saw TNG Episode #263- Parallels, and I thought this would make a good fic idea.

He felt apprehensive.

Normally, Worf was bold and brave, and never felt fear under any circumstances.

But something didn't feel right.

As he approached his quarters, his feeling became worse and worse.

As he opened the door, he gulped.

The room seemed to be clear. Worf heaved a sigh of relief and stepped into the room.

Out of nowhere, Data leapt out of the shadows and threw a water balloon at the Klingon.

By the time Worf realized what had just happened, Data was already laughing- or so he attempted to- at the priceless expression on the tactical officer's face.

When Worf did recover, he gave Data a furious glare. The android immediately ran out of the room.

Once Data was gone, Worf called up Captain Picard on his communicator. "Worf to Picard."

"Picard here. What is it, Worf?"

"Can you do me a favor, sir?"

"Certainly. What is it?"

"STOP GIVING DATA IDEAS FOR PRANKS!"

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This takes place before Data gained his emotion chip in Star Trek VII: Generations, but he's still trying to be human. Looks like he went too far.
