A/N: I'm back. I'm really sorry for the lack of updates, but I'm working on it and I will have them out soon. This is just a short thing I drew up for practice after so long of not writing. Hope you like it.
Same Outcome
Miku listened intently, watching those lithe hands of alabaster trace back and forth in the air as the enthralling story spilled from her lush lips of pink. Her gestures and expressions bringing the tale to life, prompting Miku nearly to believe this exciting and fairytale land did in fact exist, the older girl's descriptions sounding as though she had been there and experienced the world of princesses and knights, goblins and elves and monsters and swords.
Miku had never known something could excite her so much or even move her as Luka's stories always did. Even her storyteller's eyes entranced her, the pinkette seeming so passionate when narrating her tales and not a moment came when Miku wanted to look away from those boundless oceans of azure that seemed to soak up the sun when bathed in it.
Her perfect smile forcing the wind from her sails - bringing her heart to be drummed in her chest and to swell in her throat, keeping her speechless.
The high point of her adoration for the girl she admired more than anything making her want nothing more than to envelope her in a tight embrace wishing she could belong only to her. Luka her Princess and Miku her Prince.
They could waltz in soft steps across the star-filled sea.
They could hold hands as the ocean pulled onto the shore of suns.
They could fall asleep while watching the sunset on the highest tower.
They could kiss together under the morning light.
They could marry and declare their undying love in the world Luka made for only them.
Her high plummeted as disappointment with Luka's impending departure reined in, knowing that when the story came to a close so would her time with Luka. Warmth ensnaring her in warm hug, making her feel weak under it. She fought and struggled against the fog that draped over her mind. Darkness would inevitably consume her vision, swallowing the older girl's image that remained there until her eyes shut to the world.
Miku knew this was the outcome. She knew this was always the result. But, the smile that sat on her lips whenever in the girl's presence never fazed because maybe... next bedtime story, she won't let Luka have her way.
