Elsa was enjoying the quietness of the study. It was one of her few alone moments since she returned to the kingdom. She no sooner opened the book she was reading than there was a knock at the door.
"Elsa, are you in here?"
She sighed. She wanted to say nothing, and leave whoever it was to come back at a later date, but being the dutiful queen she was, she answered.
"Who is it?"
"It's Kristoff, can I come in?"
It was funny how he never addressed her as "Queen" or "your majesty" but she never corrected him. He was always polite and respectful otherwise, so it wasn't a pressing issue.
Upon opening the door, she was greeted with Kristoff's usual unkempt appearance. She sighed again and gestured inside.
"Thank you. I'm sorry bother you, but I really need to talk."
"It must be important if you've sought me out personally. Couldn't Anna have answered your question?" Elsa locked the door behind her and stood across from Kristoff.
"Actually it's about Anna." He scratched his head nervously. "I didn't want to go ahead with this until I asked you first."
Elsa raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Go ahead with what? What are you planning with my sister?"
"Well, I wanted to ask her out on a date." He said, crumpling his hat in his hands. "Can I do that?"
She laughed softly, "Is that all you wanted?"
"I wanted to double check that it was okay. After all, you did kinda flip out on Anna last time she introduced you to a guy."
"That was a completely different situation. You took care of Anna when she was lost, I trust you."
"So," he paused to put his toque back on, "can I take that as a yes?"
"Yes, you may,"
Kristoff smiled and turned to leave.
"But take Olaf with you~"
