The dark sky of the mid a.m. shines on her face quite nicely, Matt thought, he smiled while he lent on his palms. Emily was crouched on her knees, in front of the boy, her head in his lap. Her dark hair, almost as dark as the sky, splayed all over. The grass was itchy but it was okay. The feeling of Emily breathing steadily was enough to let him live easily.

He felt as if he was floating, it was hard to open his eyes. The girl had fully lied down now, collapsing slowly, creating a beautiful mess of limbs. Matt could hear her hips meet the plush ground, thump. Then more sounds - swigsh, swigsh, swigsh. Emily was making circular motions in the grass with her fingers. Coming along was 4 a.m, the day is starting to peak through. skkssss…skkkkss. It was their feet brushing together in the result of Emily swinging around her socked feet. It tickled, resulting in a few "stoooppppp" 's from Matt.

He was met with her face, they were close, he could almost taste the lime scent lingering from her. "Hi.." she giggled, their lips brushed messily, it was hard to concentrate as now the birds had starting chirping, the sun was a sick blood-red, splayed around with blues and purples, it was hypnotically gorgeous. Emily liked to think of the sun as Matt and her's relationship, then the blue as Matt as an individual. And the purple as herself. None of the colors of the canvas mixed but they lied beautifully together. See, as much as Emily and Matt are different as people, it doesn't mean they aren't good together.

Emily pursed her lips before fluttering her eyes closed and kissing Matt. It was modest, there was no intention other than love. And Matt was almost melting in her touch, he kissed back, her lips tasted exactly like pomegranates and cotton candy. He could feel her smile growing against the kiss. Her soft hands cupped his freshly shaved face into a deeper kiss, Emily wanted more, more, more.

It felt like everything was in slow motion, Matt had mad butterflies in his stomach and he was on the edge of either vomiting or crying. He knew it was good, he swore on it. He really hoped Emily felt the same way, oh god he wishes. Just in that moment, how Emily pushed them backwards softly into the bright green grass, never breaking the kiss. She giggled against his lips, before trailing down the side of his face, nuzzling him with her cheek before pecking at his jaw.

With that, he knew, that they were in love, or something very close to it. He let out a laugh, he couldn't contain his smile. Emily always said he had a contagious smile, he guessed it was true because when Emily lifted her head up to look at him she quickly grew a smile too. Emily had turned a bright crimson, blush creeping up to her ears, she was so gorgeous and Matt couldn't look away. He never wanted this to end.

The colors of the sky were still bright, wispy soft clouds danced around the vivid colors. 6:22 a.m. - and they were in love. But everything comes to an end. In quick time, the many colors of the sky that dawn were gone after the rain had started falling shortly. Be aware of how things change in the matter of time. Qui vive.
