The door slammed with a loud thud. Snape stood there, with a smirk on his sullen face and quickly turned around. He stopped in mid twirl and noticed that something was amiss in his office. He fumed with quick anger. How dare someone enter his office!
There on his desk was a large object covered with a black tarp with a note attached to it. He approached his desk, drawing out his wand with the intention of blasting whatever the thing was into oblivion.
"Snape is wonky!" cackled a loud voice.
The tarp suddenly fluttered off as if by magic and the Raven and Snape stared eye to eye.
"Hello Snape! Me your friend now!"
Snape's eyes narrowed in displeasure and back off but before he could, the cage holding the raven suddenly disappeared. The raven flew out and landed on his shoulder.
"Look, we a pair of jacks! Double snap!"
Snape groaned and wondered who would send this horrible thing to him.
The raven looked at him and then pecked him for attention, "Hey….I am now owner of Snape, sold by Weasels!"
Snape whirled around attempting to dislodge the notorious bird. The raven fluttered his wings furiously and sank in his sharp claws in further to stay on.
"Bad Boy! Father isn't happy! Now I punish you!"
The raven flew off his shoulder and landed near some books that was on Snape's desk. He bend down to push one book off towards a flaming cauldron of potion that was brewing at that moment. Snape's eyes widen in fear, for those books were expensive and irreplaceable.
"You loose, you snooze now!" and the raven pushed one book down towards the cauldron. It landed with a splash and it bubbled as the book was slowly devoured by the potion.
Snape recoiled in anger and waved his wand towards the raven only to find that the Raven flew to him and landed on his wand.
"You want to snooze some more cause I won't loose!"
Snape froze in terror wondering what other horror would be unleashed if he did what he wanted to do.
"Good boy, you get a reward! Have a fang!" as the bird bit him on his hand that was holding the wand. Snape's reaction was to let go of his wand and then saw the wand pointed to him. The raven made a quick motion with it towards him and then suddenly he saw that he had changed.
"Me bird, you dog pet! Master wants you to play fetch!"
Snape felt that his actions were out of control and that he went to fetch the letter that was laying on the floor. He saw what was written on it.
To Snape,
This was a customer returned but we couldn't take it so we gave it to you. Have fun!
Sincerely the Weasley Twins.
Snape roared in anger! The raven cackled and landed on his back.
"Weasels made a good deal right? You are perfect for me! Jolly good!"
Snape eyed the bird menacingly and thought about it for a minute. Figured, who would know? He lunged at the bird with barred teeth determined to have his way back once and for all.
In the hallways, the bark of a dog and the cackle of a mad raving raven could be heard throughout the school. Many students stopped and wondered whom was torturing whom.
