This is my tribute to Lis Sladen

The Doctor had never done this before. He'd often thought about it, but never had the courage to do it.

He took a deep breath and opened the door to the building.

Inside it wasn't what he expected, an ordinary office for something that was going to be extraordinary.

The receptionist looked up. "You must be the Doctor. Please take a seat, he will be with you shortly."

The Doctor sat in the chair provided, which in itself was an event as it really didn't exist, as did this whole office.

A buzzer sounded and the receptionist answered it. "Yes sir, I'll send him through. Doctor, please go through."

The Doctor shivered as he walked through the door and found himself where he had expected to be.

He looked round him in awe; it was not something you saw every day.

He came to a set of steps and stopped.

A man dressed in a white suit was walking down it.

"Well, this is a first, two mythical beings in one place. Now Time Lord, what brings you here?"

The Doctor shuffled his feet and looked down at the white floor.

He cleared his throat and shuffled his feet again.

"I have a favour to ask...that is of course if you do favours."

The man moved closer to the Doctor and put a hand on his shoulder.

"This is about her, isn't it?"

The Doctor nodded.

"You have done many favours for me Time Lord. I'm sure I can do such a thing for you. What favour do you ask?"

The man smiled when the Doctor told him.

"Of course and quite fitting it will be done. In fact it will be a pleasure, I haven't had a chance to do this since... but never mind. By this evening Earth time, it will be done."

Luke, Rani and Clyde were sitting on the platform that was just outside the attic window, looking up at the stars.

They all looked round when they heard the sound of the TARDIS.

The Doctor joined them on the platform.

"It's done," he said and pointed.

The three of them smiled when they saw it.

A new star shone in the heavens that night.

Officially it was called BF2314098-7, but to those who really knew how it was created, it was called Sarah's Star.
