Baking was something that Nino used to not be very good at, and while he was no professional baker, he certainly had the best teacher around.

"Like this." She shown him with hands over his how to make his bread more of the shape that it should be, so that it didn't grow lumpy when he cooked it. "It's much easier to do it this way, right?" Her voice was like music to his ears honestly.

"Y-Yeah, sure." He'd never tire of feeling her this close to him whether she's caked in flour, exhausted from a hard day helping out her parents, or just relaxing after a design that she's really proud of. Nino loves these little moments, not that he'll probably ever admit that out loud, just through being close to her and paying attention.

He can almost swear that he hears her heartbeat or feels it when she's this close though she backs away easily enough and turns her attention back to the bread that she'd been teaching him how to make, "Maman and Papa want to learn about a few foreign sweets and bread. There's this thing called Soda Bread in Ireland that's supposed to be really sweet." She glanced back up at him with a bright smile and twinkling blue eyes.

Nino wasn't sure if her eyes reminded him more of the sky or the deep blue sea though just one look at them could leave his heart racing so unbelievably fast, "Sweet bread? Kind of like dessert?"

"Yeah, I haven't had any, but I'm a little curious." She tucked her blue hair away from her face and sent another bright, heartstopping smile his way.

"I would be too." Nino admitted with a grin, getting an eyeroll from his girlfriend.

"Of course, you are. I have to watch you to make sure that you don't eat the sweets that we bake before we're done baking." She waved a spatula at him that was lying around.

"I know." Nino grinned, wide and free, just being with her felt so perfect and so relaxing, and even when they fought, they still managed to have moments like these afterward though every fight could be way louder than he'd ever probably anticipated.

When Marinette felt an emotion, it was strong, easily blowing over anyone left in its wake. Nino found that more than a little attractive whether his girlfriend was shy, passionate, or whatever else. There was a sort of energy to it that was almost addictive.

"Yeah," She smiled, "It's why we're baking bread today and not anything else."

"Yet, you're still tempting me with Soda Bread." Nino told her.

"You haven't had it yet and neither have I." She retorted with a playful smile as she came to lean against his side, "We better put the bread in the oven and set the timer."

"Okay," Nino moved slowly away from her to follow what she'd admitted that they still had to do and soon enough she was by his side and helping him set the bread into the oven.

It was little moments like these that reminded Nino that there was something here, baking by her side, moving with her. He'd almost consider it domestic despite the fact that neither of them were married.
