Warm notes spilled out of the attic window as Al walked up to the Rockbell house. Smiling to himself, he opened the door and welcomed the dim coolness after being in the summer sun. The sound was more muted indoors, but the emotion of it still came through. It was all spice, heat, and passion; it fit Ed perfectly. Taking care to not make a sound, the tall blond padded up the stairs. Al was sure that Ed had no idea he was home or he would have stopped playing immediately.

Placing his hand on the doorknob, he carefully turned until the catch released and gently pushed the door open. Ed was sitting with his back to the door in the attic room that they had shared since returning from Central. Pale gold spilt a river down his back as he hunched over his guitar, automail foot beating time to the fast-paced rhythm. Al could imagine his slender fingers rapidly picking at the strings, golden eyes closed in concentration.
Al leaned against the doorjamb and let the music carry him away. Whisper soft hair tickled his skin as his brother moaned and arched above him. Al stroked that honeyed skin, dewy with pleasurable exertion. Reaching up, he slid his hand around his lover's throat, pulling him down to kiss already swollen lips. Feathery lashes brushed against his cheeks as his tongue dove deeper into that luscious mouth. They were close to being one, the ultimate goal. Both hurried to the end, each other's names flying from their lips as they dove over the precipice together, completely entangled and melting into one. Al let out a panting breath, face flushed and sweaty.
"Al?" Ed turned around, large eyes wide in surprise. "Have you been standing there the whole time?"
"Yeah, I just love hearing you play, Brother." Al pushed off from the threshold and crossed to where Ed was sitting. He slid his fingers into that soft mane and coaxed his older brother's head back. "Your music is all I want to hear," he whispered against the other blond's lips. A small whimper escaped them before Al captured his parted mouth, each kiss bent on making his daydream come true.
