AN: I wrote this short piece around Gruvia week 2015 I guess. It was raining so much and I was exhausted with drawing, so I wanted to just write down what I felt. (BTW the cover image is mine, it's posted on (my tumblr side blog called) aphsketchworld :D And yes, I'm also a Hetalian!) word count: 218 words


Rainy Day

...just as she thought. It was raining again.

The young blue haired woman look out of her window. "Ah-" she sighted "- for a moment Juvia thought... that she felt sunlight on her skin." That was only in her mind. Sun. Happiness. Friends. And Love. She yearned for all four but had none of these.

"A new rainy day. Like the others of Juvia's life." Her melancholic gaze wandered through the room she was in. It was her bedroom - small, only equipped with a wardrobe, a desk, a chair and a bed. Monotone colours dominated in her life as much as in her heart: Grey, brown, black and blue... the bright pink umbrella was an exception. Juvia felt like it was strangely misplaced there.

The water mage began to muse about it: "Why does Juvia keep it anyway? It's useless to keep it. It will always rain and Juvia can't do anything against it. An umbrella won't help to make the rain go away."

She stood up from the bed she was previously sitting. Tap, tap, tap. With slow steps she walked to the corner the umbrella was located at.

It wasn't too heavy, light even, but the colour. At this exact moment Juvia couldn't stand it. Too pink. Too bright.

Only looking at it made her heart ache-
