Hermione

"That's great there Arthur, little to the left George. Hold still Ginny they've gotten tangled, Harry quick help her. Right, that's looking good – no better than good, it's perfect." Hermione grinned at her soon to be 'official' family before casting an appreciative eye over the bigger picture now that the details had all been seen to. "Okay, everyone together– this calls for a group photo!"

"Really Hermione, another one?" Harry groaned.

"It's her wedding Harry! Stop being such a sour puss and get in the damn photo." Ginny retorted.

"Thanks Ginny," Hermione smiled "I want us to remember every detail of this weekend for the rest of our lives, so I'm sorry Harry but this won't be the last! Maybe if you'd brushed you hair or changed out of that awful Gilderoy Lockhart t-shirt then you wouldn't be so uptight."

"Hey! You know it isn't mine," Harry's face, already flushed from excursion was now turning a shade of purple "for the record, Molly let me borrow it for decorating."

"Oh yes, we can't take the photo without Molly and Ron, where the devil has he got to anyway, he was only supposed to be checking the food – oh no." Arthur stopped rather abruptly, realising exactly why his son hadn't reappeared. "Wait here everyone I'll be right back."

Harry turned to George with a broad grin, "5 Galleons says he's eaten half of it."

"Wow there Potter, put your stacks away – all bets are off when it comes to Ron and food. I just hope he found one of my surprises before he got too far."

"You've been poisoning my wedding guests have you George? Fantastic, go get rid of your 'surprises' this minute. And he'd better not have touched a bloody thing or he'll be coming down that aisle in a wheel chair!"

George dramatically feigned offence with ridiculous facial expressions and excessive huffing before stomping off to the house. On his way past Harry he audibly whispered "Bridezilla much." Harry sniggered but managed not to give into full blown hysterics. Hermione took a deep breath and rolled her eyes.

"It's all fine, stop panicking – and even if it isn't, there's nothing we can't sort. Not one of us wouldn't go to the ends of the earth to make sure it's all perfect for you both, now come here you brilliant nutcase."

She signed, breathing him in as he embraced her. He smelt so familiar, like home and she relaxed. "I'm sorry, I know that I've been hard work." Hermione exhaled dropping her gaze, Ginny and Harry shared a knowing glance. "There's just so much to do and if I don't keep on top of it I'm worried that I'll start thinking about everyone who won't be there. Fred, Tonks, Professor Lupin, Sirius… My mum and, and my dad." All at once goose-flesh prickled like static on her skin, she shivered swallowing down a lump before it turned into a sob. "You know that, well, you're like a sister to me Hermione and as your brother I'd be honoured to walk you down the aisle, if that's you know, okay with you." She looked at him, features contorted with pain and tears brimming in her eyes, "Thank you Harry," was all she could manage.
