"Ooooh… Calypso, why did you have to do this to us? I know Hermy doesn't somplain… but she's just too nice! Why to us? Because you hate the shore, the forests? Is that what it is? Aagh!" A small fairy yelled at the goddess of the sea in her human form, Tia Dalma.

"My young and small Camoreina, you will find out in due time, as long as you just stay put with Hermione and Barbossa," Tia Dalma told the fairy. The fairy, Camoreina, flew into Tia Dalma's back room where Hermione was in her mermaid form in a large tub in the room. Barbossa was asleep, snoring up a storm. Camoreina changed into her larger form, about the size of a person's head. She was just recently about the size of a teenage girl's thumb-nail.

Camoreina was also a goddess, along with Calypso and Hermione. Calypso, as stated above, was the goddess of the sea and all bodies of water not surrounded by land. Hermione was the goddess of all beaches and shores, giving her the ability to become a mermaid. But Camoreina was the goddess of the inland and forests. As fairies were the creatures of the forest, that is why she was able to take that form.

Camoreina looked at her left hand sadly… the black spot. She looked over to Hermione and sighed. She also bore the black spot… and there was one other. One other who bore it and Calypso wouldn't tell them who.

Camoreina shrunk back down to her smallest size, and tried to think up some other escape attempt. Yes, she had tried before, and failed miserably.

As she had no ideas coming to mind… she decided it was time… time for the inevitable… time to do what all fairies, goddess or not, lived to do…
