All he wanted to do was go to sleep. He stumbled, yawning, into his bedroom, stripped off his brown pin stripe suit, changed into a soft sleeping robe and went into the bathroom to wash up. All this without bothering to turn on any lights.
Absolutions done he got into bed and started to drift off to sleep. That was until he felt a soft hand touch his neck. He sat bolt upright turning on the light, "Rose?" he squeaked, "what are you doing here?"
Rose smiled at his startled expression and dark eyes wide with surprise, "I didn't think you'd make the first move," she cooed, pushing the sheet down to reveal all her glory, "so here I am, ready and willing to rock your world." As she spoke the fumes of alcohol on her breath assaulted the Doctor's delicate sense of smell.
The Doctor gulped convulsively, "I think my world is just fine, unrocked, thank you," he scooted out of her reach, "I don't know what I did to give you the impression...by that I mean I don't think..." he quickly slid out of the bed, "what I mean to say is..."
Rose watched him in amusement, his fair skin now bright pink he continued to back away. Her smiled slipped as it sunk in that he was not swayed by her charms, "oh come on!" she sighed, "you can't tell me you've never..." she started.
"Of course not! I mean of course I have, but I don't think of you in that way," the Doctor's blush deepened.
"Come back to bed," Rose simpered trying for her best pout, the look that was like honey to bees with her human male acquaintances, "I will change your mind," with that she patted the bed softly.
"I think I left something, something very important, in the wash room," the Doctor gestured behind him, "be right back."
He slammed the door, quickly locking it and putting his head under the taps ran cold water over his hair until he had calmed his twin heart beats back to normal.
What seemed like hours later he heard the bedroom door slam, and breathed a sigh of relief. Figuring it was safe to come out he opened the door cautiously. The lights were off again, the Doctor figured Rose had turned them off on her way out.
He gained the bed, pulled back the sheets and climbed in. As he closed his eyes a firm masculine hand slid around his chest, "hi Doc!" came the cheery voice. The Doctor flipped on the light to see Jack laying next to him, sheet barely covering his muscular body.
"Here we go again!" he thought as he clambered out of bed.
