Disclaimer. I own no rights to Ouran High School Host Club. I am not Bisco Hatori.
AN. I recently reread Volume 18, and I was motivated to work on this idea I've had for a while. I'm basing things off of the manga series. Each chapter is either a glimpse or collection of glimpses into the future lives of our favorite Host Club members. I do suggest you avoid this story if you do not approve of OCs. OCs from two of my other fics will show up in this story, as well as others.
Reviews. I love reviews, but please don't review about wanting chaps to be longer. I write what I feel each chapter needs, and over time they do increase in word count. If you think I'm writing anyone out of character then please inform me of where I did it in the story. Also, helpful criticism is welcomed.
Two Makes Four
A woman with shoulder length, brown hair stepped into Suoh Mansion 1. She thanked the maid who had opened the door for her. The lady then went upstairs and towards a closed door on the left.
"I don't want to buy him the same gift as you." came a voice from inside the room. "This isn't something to laugh about!"
The woman quietly turned the knob.
"A boy's 7th birthday is very important! It has to be done right!"
The door opened silently.
"I did not say that last year!"
The woman shut the door.
"Fine, and if we do buy him the same gift he'll like mine more."
The man having the conversation turned his chair around, hung his phone up, and spotted his wife.
"Hi. When did you get in?" he asked.
"Just recently." Haruhi sat down in the empty chair across from her husband. "Who were you talking with?"
"Hikaru."
"What was it about?" she had a suspicion...
"Kohaku's 7th birthday party. I don't want to get him a gift that some one else is getting, too."
Haruhi reached across the desk and grasped her husband's hands. "Tamaki, nobody's going to buy him the same thing. Kyoya will make sure of that."
The blonde smiled at her. "Kyoya never fails when it comes to Kohaku."
"Indeed."
The two stopped holding the other's hands and together made their way downstairs.
"How's Michiko?"
"She's napping. She'll be up soon."
The couple went into their living room and then cuddled together on the couch.
"Tamaki, I have some good news." Haruhi spoke up after a few peaceful moments of silence.
"Your appointment went well, I take it."
"Actually it went better."
"Hmm?"
Haruhi's brown eyes gazed into Tamaki's purple ones.
"I'm pregnant again."
The Suohs sat on the single twin bed in their daughter's bedroom.
"Michiko."
The young girl looked at her father. "Daddy?"
"Your Mom and I have some news to share with you."
Haruhi spoke up then. "Michiko, you know how Kazuo has a younger sister?"
The girl grinned. "Kazuo and Hina are friends."
Haruhi smiled. She'd have to remember to tell Hunny and Reiko that. "Michiko, you're going to have a little sister or brother."
The child stared at her mother then looked to her father. "Really?" she asked them.
Tamaki and Haruhi nodded.
The squeal of delight from Michiko Kotoko Suoh was enough to inform her parents that she wasn't troubled at all by the news.
