The train pulled out of the station. Her hand fell to her side as she watched the smoke disappear behind the train.

'Are you all right, honey?' Aunt Angelina was at her shoulder, she laid a delicate had on her shoulder. Victoire nodded not taking her eyes off where the train had disappeared.

'He'll be back at half-term, it'll seem like no time.' Angelina squeezed her shoulder. Victoire turned towards her aunt.

She smiled and nodded.

'Victorie,! oi! Victoire!' She turned to see Teddy pushing his way through the crowd to wards her. 'Guess what?' He asked.

Victoire raised her eyebrows as she took in his bright Orange hair. 'She said 'yes.' Isn't that great?' he asked, not waiting for her reply.

She smiled as he turned and rejoined his new girlfriend.

'You hear that Teddy's got a new girlfriend?' Dominique said, swallowing her food. 'Good for him I think, his last one was horrible.'

They sat in silence and ate a little more.

'I think that she's good for him,' Dom said, gazing over at where Teddy sat with his new girlfriend.

Victoire didn't dare glance over her shoulder, instead she smiled and turned her attention back on to her food.

'Victoire! Have you meet my new girlfriend?' Victoire looked up from her book to see Teddy leading a shy looking girl up to her. This was number three, perhaps it was third time lucky.

'It's nice to meet you,' said the girl sticking her hand out. Victoire took her hand. She glanced at Teddy who sent her a meaning look.

She smiled at the shy girl.

'So Teddy tell us about your new girl friend,' Uncle Harry said, running his hand through his hair.

'What you've got another one? What happed to the other one, you know, the shy one?' George asked.

'Didn't work. She was a bit too shy, wasn't she Vic?' Teddy asked. Victoire shrugged her shoulders. 'Well this one's a lot more talkative.'

'Is she nice, Victoire?' Gran asked. Victoire looked up to see everyone looking at her.

She smiled and shrugged her shoulders.

'I wish I was going back to Hogwarts,' Teddy said looking at the train wistfully. He paused before turning back to Victorie. 'I'll see you at half-term, yeah?'

He reached forward and pulled her in to a rough hug.

Victoire pulled back, she smiled at him, then turned and got on to the train.

'How was your first term of NEWTS?' They sat on the couch at the Burrow, the Christmas tree sparkling next to them. Victorie shrugged her shoulders as though to say it was all right.

'It's weird not having to go back there any more,' said Teddy gazing in to the fire.

Victorie waited until he glanced at her before she smiled.

His lips were so soft and they moved over hers as though they had had years of practice. His hand was on her waist; the other was tangled in her hair. When he pulled away his breath caressed her face, and she slowly opened her eyes.

'I've wanted to do that for such a long time,' Teddy said, his breathing returning to normal.

'Me too,' Victoire whispered, slowly opening her eyes.

Then she smiled. It wasn't like before, this smile was special; it lit up her face; it made her glow; it put a sparkle in her smile was for him, and only him.
