You don't always get what you want.
"No, I can't look like this!" The doctor looked into a piece of broken mirror seeing the new him for the first time; he ran his hands through the thick brown hair and saw ice blue eyes and a chiselled chin and torso, in some ways he looked like Tom Cruise.
*Knock Knock*
The doctor heard someone knock on the door of his TARDIS, only a few people knew what it was and would recognise it, but was he ready to go out and reveal himself? He didn't even know what the new him was like, and how he'd handle situations in the real world.
"Doctor," he recognise that voice it was the one person he was definitely not ready to see, Jack. "Doctor, I need to talk to you!" He could tell there was urgency in the voice. Maybe the hand in the jar had changed and he knew the doctor was in Cardiff and had changed, but standing round asking questions wasn't going to solve any of them.
"One moment Jack," his voice fluctuated, this new voice and new body was still being worn in. The doctor pulled on a new jacket the regeneration was definitely considerably shorter so the iconic trench coat seemed to smother him now.
The door creaked as it opened and jacks jaw dropped. "Doctor, is that you?" he nodded almost in shame. "loving the new look," Jack smiled as he checked out the Doctors form.
"You would, I look exactly the same as you!"
"Not as hot," he took a pause as he viewed the doctor from behind "plus my bottom is a lot more pert."
"Trust you, captain"
