Miranda Lawson opened the package, slightly excited. She had been searching for anything concerning the Normandy, and after she had found this, well she had to have it. After opening the package, she frowned. She'd known it was a picture, but who was it of?The picture only showed a young teenaged boy, who looked like a complete punk, or emo kid. He wore eyeliner and mascara, paired with black hair and a red fringe. His tongue, which was sticking out, was pierced and his eyebrow was as well. in his ears were plugs, about 5 inches wide each, and he wore a black leather biker jacket. His skin was very dark as well, making Miranda grin a little. Nice to see a guy break a stereotype by not being a gangster or a mobster.

"What are you doing?" asked a voice, startling the woman. She turned around to see Artemis Shepard standing behind her, a cigarette in one hand. "Only place Chakwas can't find me." said Artemis as her explanation to Miranda's unasked question. She took a drag, closing her eyes slightly as she breathed in the nicotine. Miranda took that as a quick second to study the commander. Artemis was very tall for a human, with a very lanky form. Her head was shaved bald, and her skin was very dark. It had been in the beginning, common to see her dressed in the formal uniform of Cerberus, but after awhile, she started wearing a jumpsuit with arm warmers, more or less her way of saying she trusted them. The only odd thing about her really was her glowing scars and red eyes. Dr. Chakwas had said they meant she was negative. After seeing Artemis push a mercenary out a window, Miranda had to agree. "So, whats going on?"

"Oh, I'd managed to get a hold of a photo that was on the old Normandy. It's remarkably well preserved." Miranda held it up, and watched as Artemis's eyes widened. She dropped her cigarette, her mouth slightly opened.

"Apollo..." she said, so softly Miranda nearly missed it.

"Huh, there was no Apollo on the crew list..." Miranda muttered. Artemis took the picture from Miranda's hands, her own shaking.

"He was my twin..." Artemis said, staring at the picture. She couldn't believe it... it was her brothers photo.

"It wasn't in your file..." Miranda said, surprise in her voice. Artemis just stared at the photo.

"The slavers caught him on Mindoir..." Artemis spoke as if in a trance. "This is all I have left of him..."

"I am so sorry Artemis." Miranda said. The woman just asked, pain in her voice.

"Can you leave me alone for a bit?" Miranda nodded and left, leaving Artemis alone. Artemis stared at the photo, leaning against a wall, and sliding down it.

"Artemis... your so strong, stronger then i ever was..."

"No I'm not, I've been a wreck without you... I've missed you so much Apollo..."

"Artemis... I can't go on. Not any more..."

"Apollo..."

"I want you to do it."

"No you can't ask me that! Please, don't ask me that."

"Artemis, either you do it, or I do it."

"Apollo, please, don't..."

"Artemis, I'm broken, and I can't be fixed."

"Hold on, please!"

"Artemis, either you do it, or give me the gun."

"Apollo..." the sound of a gun being cocked. "I-I... I love you so much big brother..."

"I love you to, little sister. Thank you."

BANG!

Artemis sat on the floor, her arms wrapped around her knees as she sobbed, her shoulders shaking. The photo had dropped to the ground, falling face down., written on the back, in neat handwriting, was,

Please.
