***I have no rights to the game and make nothing off of this story. Besides if I did own it, the games would have been a lot more pervered! LOL***

As he rode into the dense forest on his faithful horse, Epona, he can't help but sign in sadness. For twenty years he has waited for the one he lost. She had been sent to another land against her will and promise to return and fall into his loving arms once more. He could not go himself because of the duty he had to the land and its people. He was their hero and savior who come out of the forest and protected them from the ultimate darkness. Now a day all he did was travel the kingdom making sure that no one else would make people suffer like before.

However, his heart was heavy. He long to hold her in his arms again and feel the warmth from her body. He closed his misty blue eyes as he recalled the times they shared. He could still see her smile as he fell onto one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. He could also recall the way she fell to her knees and lovingly kissed him, and how the rest of the night was spent in passion. Without knowing, tears of pain and loneliness rolled down his golden cheeks.

He opens his eyes to look at the sky. His eyes were filled with experience far beyond any of the land. He has traveled the kingdom since he was ten saving people. In his travels he went through water, fire, deserts and even through the land of the dead. He had to go through time seven years to save the land that refuse to give him the only thing his heart and soul wished for.

Many times he almost ran from everything in order to find her. Yet he didn't. He really didn't know why he stayed. Something told him that he wouldn't be able to find her. His heart told him that she would be disappointed if he left the land they both come to love. Which one it was, he did not know. So he protected the kingdom not for the people but for her. So that when she came back everything would be the same.

As he steered the horse to leave the forest he looked back one more time and whispered her name as if saying it could make her appear.

"Autumn."
