(A/N: Hopefully you'll never have to deal with someone like Galinda in this story—most annoying thing ever. Trust me. Enjoy!)

Cell Phone

"Of course!" Galinda squealed into her sparkly pink phone that matched the dress she was currently wearing. "I'd love to go out with you, Fiyero!" A pause, then, "No, you're too cute!" and a 'toss toss' of her hair.

From the other side of the room, Elphaba groaned. Galinda was always talking loudly into her stupid little cell phone—especially when Elphaba was trying to study or sleep. She'd tried ignoring it at first, but that had been impossible. Elphaba just couldn't block out the perky voice of her roommate.

"Oh, just thinking of you," Galinda cooed again. "What are you doing?" She 'toss toss-ed' her hair another time, and Elphaba wanted to scream at her that it was annoying enough when she did that while talking in person, but it definitely had no effect on anything when she was on the phone.

Frustrated, the green girl slammed shut her book, stood up, and forced the stupid pink phone from Galinda's hand. "Sorry, Fiyero," she said in an overly sweet tone. "Galinda is temporarily unavailable at the moment." Elphaba snapped the phone shut, put it in her desk drawer, and locked it.

Galinda rested her head on her knees and pouted. "What'd you do that for?"

Elphaba smirked triumphantly. "Payback."
