Cry
He couldn't remember why they were crying, nor did he know how long they'd been crying for. He just knew that he was, and that Tala was too and he wanted it to stop, they both did, because it was just that wrong.
It was painful, and out of character and went against everything they were. If ripped at their pride and dignity and everything they stood for, but it represented everything they had previously wanted and everything they had always hated.
He was sitting in Tala's lap, his fingers tangled in the fiery red hair situated at the nape of a deliciously pale neck. Their foreheads were pressed together, tears running down their pale cheeks and their eyes reflected broken dreams as they held each other's gaze.
Kissing Tala desperately, lovingly, sadly, a sob broke through which was easily swallowed by Tala. He couldn't help but smile against Tala's lips as he cradled Tala's head in the crook of his shoulder, and buried his nose in the red fiery hair.
He couldn't remember why they were crying, nor did he know how long they'd been crying for, but there was one thing Kai knew and it was that being with Tala would eventually fix it all.
