The Pizza Joint was full of life and smelt of warm dough and tomato puree. I heard a faint jingle as he entered through the double glass doors, flashing an astonishing smile that glistened like glass on a tarmac surface. His sun-kissed arm reached up and ran his fingers through his wind strewn blonde locks. I was lost for words- I couldn't believe it was actually him! An inspiring figure, that spread joy like it was some contagious disease. In the split second that followed a realization hit me. I feel like a complete stalker. And in some ways, it was true. The person that sluggishly walked past me put his life on a screen, displaying it all over the world for all prying eyes to see. I had never met this person before, talked to, or technically ever seen, all electronics aside. Light blue gems gazed up from under his mop of hair the colour of beach paradise sand. He had such a bad case of bedhead it looked as is he had slept for a couple of years. His casual Tee and shorts suggested he had come from an extremely hot summer, though we were currently in the middle of spring. Hands in his short's pockets he drifted up to the counter, his eyes focused upwards and flickering everywhere like two flashlights searching in the dark. The cashier politely asked, "What kind of Pizza would you like?" Taking his ocean blue eyes away from the display boards above, he looked to the cashier and simply answered, "All kinds." His Cheekiness was absolutely glowing, his smile too big for his face, making my insides feel warm and fuzzy. The poor counter boy gave him a look of confusion and then a number as he started to slowly back away. Sunlight streamed through the wide, glass windows defining the muscle lines on his arms as he slid on his cool, dark shades that were previously sitting in the V collar of his tee. I knew now that this was my chance, to introduce myself, before he slipped away never to be seen again. I felt my throat lock up as if it were forbidding me to talk. His body was lean against a wall, his fingers tapping a nearby counter-top. You could see his patience running out like a superstar athlete at the start of a race. I cleared my throat and he looked up at me sliding back his shades revealing two bright sapphires that were once behind one dark drape. As I saw his kind eyes, I felt my breath steady. My tongue twisted to find the right words. "I love your Youtube channel, and I was wondering if I could get an autograph?" I heard the longing hope in my voice and the slight tremble in my speech, but when I looked at him all I saw was that same bright smile that could lighten the darkest of days. "Yeah, absolutely, I'm always happy to meet fans." His grin was brighter then ever now, that I bet it could outshine the biggest, brightest star in the sky. I had a notebook ready as he pulled out a pen and scribbled down his signature. I looked up at his rounded face and his brow line was pulled down in full concentration. He handed me back my spiral notebook now with more sentimental value than I could have ever asked for. I heard the cashier then call out from behind the counter and I knew that our time was up. He bit his luscious bottom lip in awareness that he was just moments away to eating the best Pizza of his entire lifetime. Those blue gems then looked down to me and words fell out of his mouth like anchors sinking to the ocean floor, "Nice meeting you." His body shifted around mine as he grabbed his pizza box and made his way towards the exit. The receding light from the glass door shone on his pure skin casting behind a dark shadow. Before I knew it, he and his cheshire cat like smile were gone, making our sweet encounter destined to become another distant memory.
