AN: Yes, another Remus/Sirius, just because they're my new obsession & I was listening to way to much Atreyu.
Disclaimer: I own nothing, as always. The characters are J. K. Rowling's & the lyric that this is based off belongs to Atreyu, from their song This Flesh A Tomb.

There's Enough Light In Your Eyes; To Light Up Our Little World
Moments like these were the one's that he lived for. These were the moments that kept him together when everything else in his life was coming apart. They kept him grounded, kept him stable, kept him sane. And everything will work out okay, if these moments kept on happening, nothing could break him.
He lowered his eyes to look at their hands, fingers interwoven. They fit so perfectly, like they were made to do just this. If he ever needed any more proof that they were born to be together, all he had to do was look at their hands.
"Hey, Pads…" His voice was soft, barely above a whisper, but he knew that Sirius would hear him. Sirius could always hear him.
He turned to face him, his too-beautiful grey eyes staring straight into his own brown ones. He loved his eyes. He loved the colour; he loved the way that he could always read all of his emotions through them. It was said that eyes were the windows to the soul, and in Sirius Black that had never been more true.
But most of all, he loved the way that they shone, and Remus thought that it wouldn't matter if he never saw the sun again. The light that came from his eyes was more than enough to light up their own little world. And that was all that mattered anymore.
"Yeah Moony."
A shiver ran through his whole body. Even now, after almost a year, it still caught him off guard. Every. Single. Damn. Time. And he thinks that he'll never get used to it.
"I love you."
And he meant it. With every last fibre of his being, he meant it. His love for Sirius was rooted from deep inside now. It was in his blood, it was in his brain, in was in his heart. And there was no way of turning back now, not that he would ever want to. This was perfect, and he wanted to stay this way forever.
Sirius was smiling now. Cue another shiver. His smile was what first made him fall in the first place. Not the cocky, crooked one that he showed most. No, Remus had a smile that was all his. It was all brilliant white teeth and dimples, and each time he saw it, it made his insides flip over.
"I love you too."
And God, he'd never get sick of hearing that. To hear those words from that mouth was the most complete feeling in the world. And as long as Sirius was still saying it, no matter what else was happening, he'd be okay.
He felt a hand on the back of his head, fingers burying themselves into his hair, rubbing small circles on his skull. He let out a noise that almost sounded like a purr and relaxed fully into the touch, breathing in the familiar scent.
He loved the way Sirius smelled. Like smoke, cinnamon and something else, something warm and uniquely Sirius. He breathed in deep again, he smelt like home.
And when Sirius drew their faces closer and brushed their lips together, electricity shot through him, fizzing at his finger tips as he used his free hand to pull him even closer.
"God, I love you."
Sirius whispered as the pulled apart, his warm breath dancing on his lips as each syllable fell so perfectly from his mouth.
He closed his eyes and rested his forehead lightly against his and revelled in the complete untainted feeling in this moment. And he knew that this was all he needed.
AN: Not sure how great or not this is, it was just so easy to write. So, reveiw & make a very happy Laura :) Thanks.
