The Fox And The Dragon

It was a hot, sunny day with only a few clouds scudding across the sky and Hyorinmaru had decided to go for a walk. It felt good to be able to walk freely while not under Muramasa's control. He headed for his favourite spot in Seireitei, a cliff edge over looking the sea. However as he neared this place he noticed someone was already there. This person was not familiar to him and all he could see of them was long silver hair whipping around in the wind coming off the sea. The stranger was just sitting staring out over the sea and Hyorinmaru was hesitant about going over as it seemed like it would be kind of rude to disturb someone so lost in thought. However, he had really been looking forward to coming here and he wouldn't let some random person get in the way of this, it would just be so unfair. So gathering his courage, and with his own long seaweed green, hair dancing in the wind around his head, he started striding towards them. As he got closer he started to notice more things about this strange person, it was quite hard to tell, what with their hair blowing all over making it hard to see, but he thought those were silver fox ears on their head and that was definitely a matching silver tail. By now Hyorinmaru was quite sure that this was a zanpakuto but for the life of him couldn't work out who it was. Seating himself beside his fellow sword the ice dragon caught his breath as the other turned and he was confronted with a pair of bewitchingly beautiful golden eyes. Hyorinmaru just stared, he could feel himself falling ever deeper into those twin pools of molten gold, he felt the same awe he did when staring at a full moon and at that moment those eyes seemed to convey the same feelings of unattainability and loneliness as the moon itself. Suddenly the silver haired zanpakuto grinned revealing sharper than normal teeth with long, pointed canines and those eyes which had been so full of loneliness mere seconds ago were now sparkling with mischief.

"So, that scar in yer face must mean yer Hyorinmaru. Right?"

Hyorinmaru suddenly felt very self conscious, the blue cross shaped scar that started at the left and right corners of his forehead, crossed between his eyes and ended on the opposite cheeks had never bothered him before but with just a few words from this mysterious zanpakuto he was almost ashamed of it. Unable to think of anything to say Hyorinmaru nodded mutely. The fox-like zanpakuto's ears twitched and his grin grew even wider, causing his eyes to turn to slits and Hyorinmaru to lose his view of those rich honey eyes.

"I'm Shinso. S'good ta meet ya."
