"Tch, I can't believe you roped me into this…" Vanitas pulled on his gloves with a huff. Going out into the snow with Xion was not something he wanted to do with his saturday afternoon.

"Oh, stop being such a grump. It'll be fun!" Xion chirped, opening the front door and bracing herself for a moment from the cold air that blew in. "Trust me!" Vanitas merely scowled in return. He didn't know what could be so much fun about rolling balls in snow, then creating the image of a man with them. It seemed to get Xion pretty excited…

They went around the house, into the backyard where a thick layer had fallen just the night before. Xion squealed and ran right into the snow, rolling a small ball before rolling around the area around her. Vanitas stared at her like she was insane. What in the world was she doing?

When Xion noticed Vanitas wasn't helping, she looked back and gave him a pout. "C'mon! Grab a ball and start rolling!" Vanitas held up his hand in defeat.

"Fine, whatever…" He leaned down and patted a ball of snow together, getting a near perfect circle. He was about to start rolling it in the snow, but then he saw Xion's back turned to him, and he couldn't help himself.

He stood back up, and threw the snowball at the back of Xion's head. There was a shrill shriek then Xion turned towards him with a glare.

"You're supposed to be rolling them, not throwing them!" Vanitas just started laughing and making another ball.

"Fine, have it your way, fun sucker." He shook his head and started rolling the new ball in the snow, following her instructions.

Xion wasn't about to let him off that easily, he had gotten her head wet and there was snow rolling down her back. She rolled herself a new snowball and aimed it at Vanitas' head. To her dismay, she missed, but she also gained Vanitas' noticed. She squeaked, but the smile remained on her face.

"Were you aiming at me?" He raised an eyebrow, a smirk growing on his face.

Xion rubbed the back of her neck and shook her head. "Nope, not at all." Vanitas smirked widened.

"Oh, but I think you were." Slowly, he began stalking towards her. Still, Xion kept shaking her head, though her smile gave her away. "And to exact my revenge…" He pounced on her, and started to tickle her through her coat.

"Vanitas!" Xion squealed, trying to push him off of her, "S-stop it! I can't breathe!" She was laughing so hard she could barely speak, which caused Vanitas to laugh in triumph.

"Shall you admit defeat?" He kept tickling her, showing he wouldn't stop until she surrendered.

"Fine!" She laughed. "I give! I give!" He stopped tickling her, and she pushed him off. "That wasn't nice. We're supposed to be making a snowman." She pouted slightly.

"Screw the snowman." He tackled her back to the ground. "Let's just lay here. You like the snow, don't you?"

"Yeah, I do." She smiled up at Vanitas, then nuzzled herself into his chest as the cold from the snow started to seep through her jacket.
