Alex enters Joe's and glances around quickly looking for Arizona. She was blowing up his phone an hour ago to get him to come out, but now that he's here he doesn't see her anywhere.

"Hey, have you seen Robbins?" He asks the bartender.

The bartender nods and points over towards a booth in the back where Arizona is sitting with another woman.

"Great, she's hooking up with someone," he grumbles and motions to the bartender to pour him a beer. He sits down and begins sipping his beer, when a moment later the woman that Arizona was sitting with passes by him, so he grabs his beer and heads over to his friend.

"Hey, I came out. Do you need a ride or what?" He asks gruffly as he sits down across from her.

"Alex! You actually came," Arizona blurts out in surprise.

"Yeah, you blew up my phone. Now what's going on?" He asks.

"Uh, change of plans. Raincheck. Here's for your beer," she pushes a twenty into his hand and shoos him away.

"Is this man bothering you?" A woman asks in accented English.

"I'm her friend. Alex Karev," Alex replies pleasantly as he turns towards the other woman.

"Karev?" The other woman repeats. "Alex Karev?"

"You've heard of me," Alex replies smugly and looks over at Arizona.

The punch catches both doctors off guard. Alex stumbles back a moment and Arizona pushes up from the booth to restrain the other woman.

"What the hell?" Arizona exclaims in shock.

"He nearly killed my brother Andrea," Carina snaps angrily.

"I don't even know a guy named Andrea," Alex retorts as he rubs his sore jaw. "Nice punch by the way," he adds spinning away from the two women quickly.

"Arizona, I am sorry. But I know that was the man who beat up my brother," Carina replies. "How do you know him?"

"We work together and have for a long time, look Carina, this has to be a mistake," Arizona adds defending her friend.

"No, it is not a mistake. I spoke to him recently and that is the name of the man who assaulted him," Carina replies with certainty.

Arizona pauses a moment and glances around to see people staring at them. "Look why don't we get out of here and talk?" She suggests.

"My hotel is across the street," Carina offers.

"Of course it is," Arizona mutters as she guides the other woman out the door.

As they enter the hotel, Arizona leads the other woman over to a quiet table in the bar and the bartender nods at her. She waves back he begins pouring two glasses of wine.

"Now, your brother, Andrea, what does he do?" She asks.

"Andrea is a doctor at the hospital, I was at that bar tonight, hoping to run into him," she replies gesturing towards the windows. "He, uh, he doesn't know that I'm here. We are not, how do you say it? Close together?" Carina asks unsure of her wording.

The blonde nods as she processes this information. "You're certain that he works at this hospital?" Arizona asks.

"Yes, his name is Andrea, Andrea DeLuca," Carina answers.

The blonde gasps, her hands quickly going up to her face. "Did you say DeLuca?"

"Yes, I suppose that we haven't formally met. I am a doctor as well, Doctor Carina DeLuca," she says taking the blonde's hand into her own and smiling warmly at her.

"Y-you're a doctor?" Arizona stammers slightly.

"Yes," Carina confirms. "What do you do?"

"Well, I'm a surgeon," the blonde replies with a smile. "Arizona Robbins, Chief of Fetal Medicine and Pediatrics."
