Prologue:

A young girl of no more than nine years silently walked through the streets of a deserted town, the buildings on either side of the street she was on collapsed around her but this didn't worry her in the slightest, the girl didn't even give them a quick glance as they crumbled for this was the girls own creation: the crumbling buildings, the destroyed streets, even the ashes that fell from the sky like snow was her invention. Smiling the young girl stopped and stared at a teenage male who was sleeping on a bench under the shadow of a tree. It was no coincidence that the male was here, he was vital in a very important plan, which is also why he was hidden in the darkness of a shadow, for in darkness he can remain hidden from the evil of the town. The young girl carefully sat by the male and lifted up one of his hands in which she placed one of her own whilst using her other hand to gently play with his hair, she laughed silently for a few seconds before finally leaning forward and pressing her lips against his forehead as she stood up. Gently placing the males hand back to it's original position the young girl laughed again, the two had a connection that had been hidden away for years, a connection that only the girl was truly aware of. It was this connection that was needed for the plan to work.

Turning away from the male the young girl silently made her way down a new street, this time the buildings stayed intact as she walked for a few minutes before disappearing into the thick fog.

Author's notes: It's so short because it's just the intro, it's the bit that gives you an insight to the story... or at least it's supposed to. You see this prologue doesn't really give you much info about the story or what will happen, it should just make you think about what it means and how it could fit in with everything else... but you're not going to find out until the end...
