It's Not Over

by OhxCaroline

Disclaimer: I do not own Gossip Girl. If I did there would be more Chuck and Blair scenes and the finales wouldn't break my heart as much as they do. Also, I would be an amazing writer which you'll soon find out, that I'm quite the opposite of that. xD

Author's Note: First Gossip Girl fic not that it's an excuse, just stating. I really wanted to write one before the new season started which is today!! :D and I got inspired while watching The Notebook. Well, enjoy. : Reviews are greatly appreciated; Good or Bad.

"Why are you so quiet?" Blair looked for an answer in Chuck's eyes trying to fight back the tears forming in her own. At any moment James, or Marcus, was going to pick her up and take her back to the Hamptons house with him. Blair didn't really want to go. What she really wanted was for Chuck to just rip all her clothes of with his teeth and have hot, passionate sex right there for everyone to see, but she would never admit that. Blair wasn't about to let him back into her life without knowing he'd be right back out of it just as fast. She couldn't bare to fall deeper for him just to have it all fall apart again.

Chuck didn't say a word. He just stood there staring deep into Blair's big brown eyes feeling all the emotion in them. The sadness of everything he had put her through. Confused of why he was just standing there staring at her in silence. The fear that he would break her all over again. And the hope that despite everything that had happened, despite the fact that he was Chuck Bass and she was Blair Waldorf, that they could actually be something.

"Well, aren't you going to say something?" All that could be heard were people talking in the distance and the two of them breathing, in and out, "Chuck, if you're not going to say anything then I'm just going to go. I'm tired of these games."

Blair started to walk away and heard Chuck finally speak behind her, "Then let's stop playing around," She felt chuck's hand grasp her arm and pull her in. Their lips met in an explosion of lust and love and she could feel that he wanted her, that he needed her. Blair didn't think a kiss could be filled with that kind of passion. She also never thought she would have lost her virginity to Chuck or that she would have fallen in love with him. But that's Chuck Bass for you; full of surprises. Chuck broke off the kiss and stared at her again, "I love you."

And that was the last full sentence spoken by them for the rest of the night.

Author's Note: Yes, I know the kiss scene was LAME. I'm not good with romantic scenes like that so I just kind of wrote down whatever.
