He's back in Toronto for just a little while.
She's with Sav now, even though she called it "just a break."
When he finds this out, she can see the pain flicker across his face. Although he's covered it up, she knows that she hurt him. She never meant to, so she feels bad.
She tries to make it up by hanging out with him and Fiona. It's hard for her, but she manages to do it.
…Until she starts to fall for him again.
She perks up at the sound of his voice. Her heart starts to flutter when he looks at her. She starts to melt at the mention of his name.
She thinks that she has it under control, until Sav starts to notice.
He keeps asking questions, suggesting things. She says that they're just friends, but she knows that she's not telling him the whole truth.
And then Declan makes that speech at the Grundy's that makes her feel so appreciated and loved. She starts falling harder.
It's harder for her to hide it now. So, she starts to avoid him, insisting she's with Sav.
But then, Fiona gets drunk, and they're left alone together.
At first, she tries to resist, but then he kisses her and she realizes that she never stopped loving him. But, she's still with Sav. So, this is wrong, right?
But then she realizes she doesn't care about Sav or anything else. Right now, in this moment, Declan is all she cares about.
So, she kisses him back.
