Here you go! Time for some role reversal with Madoka and Homura. It's not exact role reversal, I feel like Homura would have a different situation, but I thought it was good. I also let Kyoko go to school with the girls because I felt like Homura would probably want to create a utopian timeline for Madoka.
Time is ticking.
Gears are moving.
Hands are dancing.
The pendulum is swinging.
"Tick, tock. Tick, tock."
And the time is up.
She looks to her friend, smiles sadly and says
"Ding, dong."
And she's fading into the endless cycle of time.
She stands there, tears flooding her eyes. She drops to her knees, crying and screaming.
"HOMURA-CHAN!"
All that's left is a black, shiny headband.
She picks it up,
And the time is reset.
She's standing with her 3 friends, Sayaka, Kyoko, and Mami.
She looks at the headband she's still holding.
She smiles and whispers
"Thank you, Homura-Chan."
High above in space, a godly figure smiles, tears dripping from her eyes.
Time is ticking.
Gears are moving.
Hands are dancing.
The pendulum is swinging.
All is well.
In case it wasn't clear enough, Homura is the Goddess of Time now, as Madoka was the Goddess of Hope. And Madoka does end up wearing the headband. NO I WILL NOT MAKE A REBELLION STORY VERSION. PLEASE NO. .
