Written for an English assignment. About Elphaba and Fiyero's daughter. The youngest of their three children.
I'm currently working on one's like this for the other two children.
Disclaimer: I do not own Wicked.
Falaba with eyes the color of the earth, Falaba with the long ebony hair, Falaba whose name is a variation of her mother's childhood nickname, is a little girl who is everyone's friend, runs down the roads where the houses are spread far apart, lives in a small cottage, jumps on her parent's bed to wake them up, lets her mother brush her hair, feeds the dog and the barnyard animals, grabs her backpack and runs out of the house. Falaba, sooner or later, arrives at the schoolhouse with flowers in her hand. Hands them to the teacher, who is delighted to see some color in the room. Hops over to her friends, tells them about the beautiful fox she had seen this morning. Today, unlike the other school days so far, was a day for celebrating, jumping up and down and eating sweets.
Falaba inside that colorful blouse, inside the voice that is always being used and shouts out answers at the speed of light, inside those eyes so full of understanding, so wide and passionate, is a world of magic that only Falaba knows about. Falaba, after school, skips all the way back to her home, jumps into her father's arms when she sees him, helps her mother make dinner. Sneaks out after dark to sit in her favorite tree, looks around to see all of the wonderful animals that live by her house, foxes, wolves, deer and even the rare and elusive tiger. Tiptoes back inside, climbs into her warm bed and drifts off to a land of hopes and dreams.
