It was early in the morning and for some, they slept in until the sun was setting while others woke while the sun rose. For Izaya he was the latter. Every morning he was up incredibly early, he'd go for a jog, not that anyone knew that he did such activities, not even the male that was still asleep in his bed.

Izaya would return, take a shower and make breakfast, by this time, his companion would be up but he continued to sleep the day away, not that he had plans with him. He just wanted his space again.

The informant turned the TV on and watched some random cartoon while his front door opened and his twin sisters came rushing in. They grabbed some food from a cupboard before running out again. He sipped his coffee calmly, ignoring the small wind that blew past him.

He leaned back on his couch, feeling a little lonesome at the moment, but his feelings quickly evaporated when his phone buzzed. He paused his tv with a sigh and answered his phone. A client wanted information. He stood up as they had said they were outside and let them in. Even his assistant wasn't here which was infuriating. It was just a random teenager wanting advice on his girlfriend.

How frustrating. He dealt with big mafia boss' yukuza, teenagers with a ton of problems and then he gets asked if his girlfriend is seeing someone else, they didn't need to go to him for such a thing. It was a simple yes. The kid was a dweeb, with huge glasses and two front teeth that prodded out his mouth. He looked ridiculous. He had shaggy, greasy brown hair that some what covered his eyes.

The facts were, she was texting someone else, 'a friend'. She never wanted to kiss him anymore. Not that Izaya believed she wanted to in the first place. The kid was a horror. He loved humans, he just didn't need to touch them or feel an attraction towards them, especially not with this kid. The female also sometimes stumbled on his name and was about to pronounce someone else.

"The fact is that she is cheating on you. Of course she would. Look at you. You're a disgrace...even if you are loaded from your family. She was clearly a gold digger. Now with that money, get a haircut, contacts or laser eye surgery and some braces. God damn it," The kid threw a stack of money at Izaya before running out crying. The male shrugged, took the money and sat it on his desk.

He looked to the time to see it was only half eight. He couldn't leave without his companion waking, so he decided to look over his bills. He sat at his desk, opened his top drawer. He glanced at his room before he pulled out a pair of reading glasses and pushed them onto his face.

Okay, he had just told a kid to get laser eye surgery but that was because he was just hideous. His glasses weren't even cute. The kids were large and round, something harry potter would wear while Izaya had a cute small rectangle pair with somewhat large black frames. They were only reading glasses as he found his eyes were worsening by looking at a screen all the time.

He pulled out several other envelopes and started to rip them open and would skim over the 'Dear Orihara-san' and get to the bold parts. He chewed on his lip as he saw his rent money, yes he rented the house. He was close to paying it off as his own but he had other luxuries to buy. He was being over charged for his gas bill. Izaya sighed and picked up his house phone and phoned the number.

It started off with that useless 'for a real person dial, hash 99,' Izaya pressed the correct numbers. When a real person came on and not that delirious robot woman he had to let off some steam.

"I have been over charged for my gas! Who do you thin-"

"Sir, I advice you not to shout," the woman he was speaking to was very calm when she spoke but he knew that she would be some loud bitch who hated her job more than anyone. She was almost seething through everyone words and keeping back from hissing while showing a cute and friendly facade.

"I am furious! You know how irritating that robot is," Izaya continued to hiss. He hated this woman already.

"Can you state your name sir?" She asked softly, bored almost.

"Izaya Orhihara," The whole process took flaming ages and Izaya was sure he wasted the whole day away by speaking to her. He finally was able to open more bills and document them into his computer. He had to figuring out how much he had to pay Namie. He went into another drawer and pulled out a black leather diary and looked back how much she worked and how much he decided to deduct off her.

He sighed and transferred the money into her bank. He sat up and heard his buzzer ring and went to the stupid phone that was connected to the down stairs, "Hello?" He said almost bored.

"Izaya, it's me...," Ahh it was his apprentice, Masaomi Kida. He allowed the male up but instead of making him tea he continued to check envelopes. He was trying to calculate how much he had spent which was fairly little. He was making a significantly a lot more now that his companion found taking it out on his ass rather than street lamps. Not that is companion knew that Izaya did pay for 80% of the damages but the male still believes that he had to pay for all the damages.

Kida came in, without knocking and was surprised to find Izaya at his desk with a pair of glasses on his face. The blonde took a seat at his usual spot and lay his head back against the soft cushions, "I'll be over in a minute, I'm just finishing this," Izaya spoke softly as opened more envelopes and docked them into the computer. He sighed and walked over to Kida who was staring at him.

"What?"

"I never knew you worse glasses," the blonde sniggered at the sight of the informant.

"Shit," Izaya pulled them off his face and threw them to his desk and took a seat, "Not a word. They are just for reading," Izaya felt like he needed to give the male an excuse. "You rarely come for a visit, what so you want?"

"Information, of course. I wasn't coming for a little visit," the blonde teen who was now 19 of age. He had dumped that female and was in a healthy (yet secret) relationship with his childhood friend Mikado Ryuugamine, both of them attending Tokyo University together.

"On what?" Izaya asked still irritated from the woman he had to deal with.

"The yellow scarves of course, more important the attacks,"

"What will you pay with? That seems more personal that business," Masaomi pulled out a wad of money and threw it to Izaya who counted it slowly. He sat it on the desk and nodded his head. "Every time I give you personal information, you end up hating me more...It's not exactly fun," Izaya playfully pouted. That was generally the case, the blonde would get angry and storm off. It frustrated him when he did so.

"Just tell me," Kida persisted.

"Remember that man who was involved with the serial ra-"

"Babe, who are you talking to," Izaya paled and looked up to see his companion leaning over the railing to look down at his boyfriend. Masaomi looked up quickly and almost fainted to see the monster of Ikebukuro wearing nothing. He could see everything from this angle and it wasn't really a sight the blonde male wanted in the morning.

"Get dressed!" Izaya hissed up to him. Shizuo scratched his head slowly, his biceps flexing and Masaomi knew that the male was just stunning.

"My clothes are in the wash. I don't have anything," Izaya felt the need to either kill himself or the naked man. He felt like his mother at times and not actually his boyfriend.

"I swear if I have to get up, I will slaughter you," he threatened and heard a small chuckle escape the mans lips before he insistanly quietened.

"Wait...you're with a client,"

"Not really, but still...shoo," Izaya hissed and slumped down in the couch. He looked to Masaomi to see him smiling creepily. He heard the bedroom door swing open and watched as Shizuo made his way down stairs wearing a black tshirt with white sleeved and a pair or light denim jeans.

"Morning," Shizuo walked over and bent down to kiss his lips softly. Masaomi squeaked out in shock to see the love, "What's the matter?" He asked after a second. Izaya shook his head but Shizuo didn't budge and sat down next to him, wrapping his arms around his body. "What's wrong? I won't let go until you tell me," he urged.

"Just the gas company over charging me. Took ages to deal with...and you,"

"What did I do?" Shizuo asked hurt.

"We'll talk about it later, let me deal with Masaomi first," Shizuo nodded but refused to move.

"I said I wasn't going to move...so tell me," Izaya shook his head and turned to Masaomi who was staring in shock. They got along. Izaya and Shizuo actually got along. They were friends. No they were boyfriends. No lovers. They seemed so close and it was terrifying.

Izaya reached forward and took the stack of cash and pulled out about half and gave it to Masaomi, "Keep quiet about this. Anyway...the serial rapists lost his daughter to the yellow scarfs, but she never died, she just gave up with her dad, now he was taking away and she blames the yellow scarfs so she is fighting for him. The girl is Yuki Kappan...stupid name but thats her," Masaomi nodded his head and took the small stack of cash back and was walking back out. "We aren't done. Come back," Izaya hissed.

"What," Izaya stood up and went to his desk and handed him a yellow envelope.

"I need you to get information on those people. Sit and read it, Shizuo will make you some tea if you need it," The blonde male hissed and walked over to Izaya's kitchen and made some tea. Izaya followed him over and sat on the bunker in front of him. Shizuo looked behind him to see the blonde kid was reading. He took the opportunity and pressed his lips to the male.

"What did I do?" Shizuo asked softly.

"It's your day off..." Izaya trailed off not wanting to tell him why he was so sad.

"You wanted to so something together?" Izaya blushed which meant yes. "You said you didn't want to do anything. I can cancel my plans with Celty to do something with you. I'm not bothered," the truth was he was bothered. If he wanted to spend his day with him he should have said and not hide it.

"You will moan at me later on for it. Go enjoy your day with Celty," A tear dribbled down Izaya's cheek.

"I can't now...you are crying. God damn it. If you wanted to do something then you should have said," From a distance Kida was watching them closely. He never knew Izaya to cry or even have a heart when it came to humans. He was an okay boss, he had to admit but he wasn't great. He was kind of harsh with an ice cold heart.

"What do you want to do?" Shizuo demanded with a sigh.

"I don't know. We can't really go out."

"How not?"

"Ehh us is a secret," Izaya scoffed.

"That brat doesn't care," Izaya tilted his head to see Masaomi who was watching them intensely.

"This brat just want his tea that he was promised," Izaya hopped off the bunker and finished preparing the tea before giving it to Kida who casually sipped it. "Thank you," he said gratefully. He looked over the document slowly then looked up to see what he used to believe were two enemies making out. Izaya sat on the counter, his legs wrapped around the blondes while their tongues intwined.

Kida stood up quickly, grabbing the yellow envelope and rushing to the door, the blush on Izaya's face and the way he devoured the monster of Ikeobukuro meant he must of had plans that Kida did not want to find out.

The blonde teen took sighed, well that was an eventful morning.

...

I tend to have the middle of stories, never the beginning or ends, so they always end rather cheesy.
