Summary:
She stopped, turned around and looked into his green eyes. "I can't, I've already told you." Sharp, silver eyes gazed on, concealed by the shadows. Quite short.
Silver Eyes Gazed On
He ran after her, reached for her arm and grasped hold of it. "Please, no! Don't go."
She stopped, turned around and looked into his green eyes. "I can't, I've already told you."
Sharp, silver eyes gazed on, concealed by the shadows. The boy leaned down, as if to kiss her. The silver eyes focused on the floor as the owner crept away, around the corner and down another corridor.
The girl pushed the boy away. "I said no!" She turned and ran, red threads of her hair glinting in the torch light.
"But wait, you don't understand. I need you, I love you! Why don't you love me any more?"
"You're too late. Things change, people change." She called back as she ran.
He looked at the floor, trying to comprehend why this girl who had always liked him, now no longer did. He pushed his glasses back up his nose, from where they had slid down to, turned and started to make his way back to the common room, still deep in thought.
Meanwhile the girl had caught up with the mysterious owner of the grey eyes."Wait for me!" she cried ahead.
"Shouldn't you be with him?" He stressed the word as though it left a bad taste in his mouth.
"What? After all we've been through you think I'd choose him over you?"
"Well..."
She laughed. "At least one of us has some sense left, and it's not you."
Pulling him closer, she kissed him, short and sweet. "Come on then, we don't have that much time together that we can waste it in a drafty corridor."
"Ginny, you know that I really do love you, right?"
"Of course I do Draco, but I love you more." She added cheekily.
"We'll just see about that, won't we!" And with that he tugged her hand and started to pull her away down the corridor, towards a more private setting.
