Plasmus was at it again. The street was being obliterated by the disgusting purple mass.
"Titans, go!" Shouted Robin
Starfire took to the sky and began raining down her starbolts. Each one blasting a piece of Plasmus to the ground. Cyborg was using his sonic cannon to the best of his ability. Robin threw his best devices and they exploded at Plamsus' feet, distracting the villain. Beast Boy took the form of an octopus and wrapped his tentacles around the evildoer's slimy legs.
"Raven! Now!" Commanded Robin
"Azarath metrion ZINTHOS!" She cried, blasting Plasmus apart, revealing Otto Von Furth, the man behind the mass.
"Nice shooting, Rae," said Beast Boy, who was now back to his human form.
"Yes! Good job, friend Raven! That was most effective," exclaimed Starfire.
"Let's get this blob back where he belongs," said Cyborg as he scooped up the knocked-out Otto.
"Excellent job, team," Robin said as he looked around the room at his companions. They were back in the common room in their Tower.
"I vote pizza!" Beast Boy bellowed.
"I second this vote!" Said Starfire.
"Meat lovers all the way!" Declared Cyborg
"I think I'll just stick to some tea for now." Said Raven.
Beast Boy looked over at Raven with an incredulous look on his face.
"How can you not be hungry, girl!? We just took down a giant blob monster!"
"There's something about that blob monster that makes me lose my appetite. I'll just get my tea and go to my room."
Raven made her way to her dark and inviting dwelling. She hardly noticed the little green fly following her, but she did notice.
"Beast Boy, why are you following me?"
He changed back into his human form and laughed.
"I just wanted to see what you were up to…"
"You could ask and not be a creep about it."
"I guess that's true. But you're secretive so I made it a secret mission."
"Don't you have pizza to eat?
"Yeah, but it'll be here in thirty minutes. So what do you want to do for thirty minutes?" He asked with a sideways smile, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.
"I'm going to read," said Raven firmly and she slid open her door and shut it behind her. She took a breath and closed her eyes trying to clear her mind.
"Nice digs. Very dark."
The fly had followed her in. Beast Boy was on her bed laying down with his arms folded behind his head.
"Really, Beast Boy?" Raven was irked. She was also a little pleased and she didn't know why.
"Come talk to me," said Beast Boy patting the bed.
"Get off my bed," said Raven darkly.
"But it's so comfy!" Beast Boy whined.
Raven sighed and made her way to the bed. She used her energy to shove Beast Boy off and onto the floor and laid down. Suddenly an adorable green dog was gazing up at her from the bedside. She sighed again and reached down to pat it. It licked her hand.
"Ugh, Beast Boy!" She wiped the drool on her sheets and he was human again.
"Scooch over," he said as he began to crawl onto the bed.
"No," she said with a small smile. Her emotions were betraying her.
"Please!" He begged.
"Fine," Raven growled. He flopped down beside her and they were both laying down looking at the ceiling.
"Whatcha thinking about?" Asked Beast Boy with an innocence in his voice.
"I'm trying to figure out how I can get you out of my room so that I can read." She replied.
"Aww don't be like that. Don't you want a little company?"
Then she felt his hand slip into hers. Her stomach gave a swooping sensation.
"I'm thinking about you." Beast Boy said quietly.
Raven felt her face grow hot. Of course she had thought about this happening, but she never thought about where or when it would. She guessed now was as good a time as any.
"I think about you a lot actually," he continued and his hand tightened around hers.
"BB, I…" she wanted to say something, but what?
Beast Boy turned on his side to face Raven.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked softly.
He leaned in without an answer and she felt his lips touch her own. It was a magic she had never thought existed. After what seemed like hours, they stopped. Raven looked deep into his green eyes and another small smile broke out on her face.
"I like making you smile," he said.
