The notorious seer Silvena hurried to the Centrasphere, ignoring the suspicious glances the rest of her race gave her as she ran. Quickly passing through security, she hurried to the teleport room where she could fast-travel to the Head Office were High Officer Bandor usually worked. She didn't know where he was or what exactly he would look like, but she guessed that she would know it when she saw him. "State your emergency." The computer ordered before she could teleport.
"I need to see the High Officer."
"State your emergency," the computer repeated.
"It's important! I need to see him!"
"State your emergency."
Silvena groaned, unable to think of an excuse until she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to see a rather formal-looking man in a suit. "Here."
The computer scanned him and he motioned her to the fast-travel. Quickly thanking him, she beamed up to the High Office.
No one else was in the room besides her until the man from before beamed next to her. Her eyes widened. "I'm sorry, High Officer - "
He smiled. "Leave it at 'Bandor'." Gesturing to the couch, she sat down as he brought tea for the two of them. "It's Silvena, right?"
Silvena nodded. "Yes, sir, Silvena."
"And you're a seer."
"Yes," she replied.
"You know how dangerous it is for a profession like that nowadays."
"I know," she said, "But I do what I can for the sake of our race. Especially after the Time Lock. Stars know when the cord will snap."
They paused for a moment before Bandor mentioned, "We were not always like this - a fighting race, I mean."
"I know," Silvena murmured, "I was just a child when the Warriors of Gallifrey banished us. My father died in the battle. My mother and I were heartbroken."
"I'm sorry," he apologized.
"There's nothing anyone could've done. Fixed time."
"Still. It was not right for the Time Lords to even try to obliterate a peaceful race because of jealousy," spat Bandor bitterly.
Silvena nodded silently. "Right, about what I was coming to tell you."
"A prophecy, I presume?" he asked.
"I think so."
"Explain what you saw."
"It is what I see," corrected Silvena, "Two words, just appearing everywhere I see."
"In this room, then?" said Bandor.
"Yes, even in this room."
"What two words? What do they mean?"
"It is a repeat of a great legend I heard when I was a child - a goddess I could've sworn was mythical," she continued.
"What? Who?"
"The Bad Wolf."
His eyes widened. "Impossible."
"She is returning somewhere in the universe. Whether as destruction or salvation, I do not know."
"Are you certain?"
"I could never be so sure."
"Let us hope the Bad Wolf is a good sign, then."
A/N: Well... let's just say I decided to rewrite this book. I finished outlining the entire story arc of the series, from "Charlotte" to "Twice Upon a Time" over a span of fourteen books and five possible spin-offs I may or may not end up writing.
Basically, I'm rewriting this book with foreshadowing and a whole POV change, plus more to make it flow better. The series name is still kind of "The Savior Chronicles", but it is a part of the Collison 'verse where all of the books (spin-offs and all) will be a part of.
I might want to add that this book is also written on AO3, Wattpad, and Quotev, so if you prefer reading off of any of those platforms, the book is on there.
