Notes: Just a little drabble, nothing more, nothing less. It's one of those things that I wish I could roleplay with someone but have no balls to ask anyone to do so (plus I lose interest too fast, haha).

"If you haven't realized, I was only sent here to evaluate you. Not babysit."
The dark chocolate eyes of Ada Wong followed the young red-headed male as he looked feverishly around the sleek laboratory. Rummaging non-too-quietly through various cabinets and pantries that contained bottles full of chemicals, empty beakers, and other miscellaneous items, she could hear a loud snort coming deep from within his throat. She simply crossed her arms over her chest and stood patiently, waiting for him to finish whatever he was doing. With a soft slam the redhead closed the last pantry door and turned around to face her.
"Am I really being that much of a handful?" Steve asked with a grin before holding up a large silver keychain. Slipping it around his index finger, he twirled it at a steady pace to cause the various keys upon it to cling against one another, "You have to give me some credit—I'm at least trying to find shit around here. But don't worry. I know you're distracted by my charming good looks and I don't blame you. I would be too."
It was Ada's turn to snort now.
"I suggest you hold that tongue of yours. It might get you in trouble one day." She replied as she walked towards him, her heels clinking against the linoleum flooring in the background. Once she was in front of him he immediately stopped twirling the keys and she took them from his hand, "Allow me."
"Isn't this supposed to be my mission?" Steve raised an eyebrow as he watched her with the most amused expression on his features, his smile increasing ten-fold. The Chinese-American simply shook her head and manoeuvred past him, their shoulders brushing past each other gently. Steve's expression mixed between both amusement and sudden realisation but Ada hadn't noticed this, having focused her attention on the cracked computer screen.
After a brief moment of silence she turned her head towards him, ignoring his question and responding simply with, "We best get going before any others start showing up."
She immediately grabbed at the handgun strapped securely in the holster upon her thigh and continued on her way out of the room, the keys securely jingling in her free hand. Steve followed after her, never to know how much he reminded her of the charming rookie cop she met back in Raccoon City.
