Confusion

-to return back to you-

It's not like she's stupid, honestly. She has scored higher than average grades in every single class she every attended, ever since kindergarten. She can recite pi to the hundredth numeral, and beyond. She can have a full conversation in Italian without having to draw out her English to Italian dictionary.

But she's not a nerd. She has her dumb moments, honestly.

Like right now, when she thought that the rest of the Glee club would understand her relationship. Jesse couldn't be going out with her just to spy of them, he wasn't like that and she knew it. She would never compromise the Glee club in order for a relationship but honestly, how often did she get guys? Usually her incredible talent and sometimes diva-ish nature usually scared them off before they could actually get to know the real her.

She wasn't going to let them ruin what could be real love.

And if that meant they had to date in secret, then so be it. Every girl needed a Romeo and Juliet type relationship at least once in her life. And Rachel guessed that this would be hers.

Jesse St James was better than Finn, in every single way. He was handsomer, politer, and smarter, and had a better voice than Finn. And he knew how to treat her like an actual woman, a love interest, not like some Frisbee that you could throw away and expect to return back to you.

He treated her well, and she wasn't just going to throw that away.

Rachel Berry isn't a stupid girl, after all. She knows what she wants, knows what she needs. And right now it isn't Fin, to be honest. It's Jesse St James, Jesse with the angelic voice and perfect hair, Jesse with the bright smile that could dazzle the stars, Jesse who holds her and tells her that she is beautiful, Jesse who adores her. She isn't going to give all that up just so the Glee clubbers can feel more secure.

She knows Jesse, and he would never ever steal from their set-list. He respects New Directions as much as they respect Vocal Adrenaline, which is a lot. He knows they have more talent then them, but he doesn't flaunt the fact.

And if they have to date in secret, she'll get used to it.

After all, its better to have a secret love than no love at all.

Jesse St James was hers, and she's never ever going to let him go.

Rachel isn't a stupid girl.

Most randomest thing I've written for Glee. But I love Rachel && Jesse St James, so yeah. Review?
