Heather giggled hysterically as Gil attempted to cork the cork out of the bottle of wine he had purchased. Neither of them really needed anymore to drink; Both had consumed three bottles of beer each. Upon running out of that, they had moved onto the wine rather than just stop drinking.
"Quit laughing," Gil chuckled. He smiled triumphantly as the cork flew from the bottle and white suds bubbled down the sides.
"Finally!" She laughed again. "I thought you'd never get it open." Heather grabbed the bottle from him and poured some into the china cup before her. She was drunk, so of course she spilt a bit.
"Hey! Save some for me," Gil whined. He took the bottle back, tipped his head back and poured it directly into his mouth.
"I thinkāI think I'm drunk," Heather giggled again.
"You are." Gil plunked the bottle down onto the table with a quiet laugh. "You know, I don't drink. I've never had so much alcohol in one night. But w-with you, I'm different."
"Don't do that!" Heather pointed one long, elegant finger at Gil. "Don't be like that. I just want to be drunk right now and if you start that, I can't."
Gil smiled warmly.
"I'm going upstairs," Heather suddenly told him. She stood up slowly with a wicked grin upon her face. "Care to join me?"
Gil stood up, mesmerized by the looked of lust in her eyes. She took his hand and led him up the stairs, smiling the entire time. Her warm touch seemed to make Gil feel sober right away, and she felt the same way.
Inside Heather's personal quarters, Gil laid down on the couch in her office and closed his eyes.
Heather tapped one finger on his chest as she whispered, "I didn't mean I wanted to sleep."
Gil's eyes shot open. He watched for a moment as she walked into her bedroom, then he jumped up and ran after her. Seconds later quiet chuckles, giggles and moans could be heard from the two.
"You didn't plan this, did you?" Gil inquired between kisses.
"No I didn't," Heather replied with another wicked grin. "But I like where things are going."
