Ch. 1- Castiel Speaks

In a small church, a single figure was sitting the front pew. It was a woman. Tears streamed from her green eyes. She was deep in pray.

"Oh, God! What am I to do?" she whispered.

Suddenly the building shook. The front door of the church swung open. She turned to look at it. A man was walking through, but as she truly looked at him she realized he wasn't really a man. He went before her and looked into her tear soaked face.

"Hello, Eve. I am Castiel, an angel of the Lord." he said to her. She looked at him in shock, but said nothing. "I was sent here to guild you to your purpose. Be assured that those you have loved and lost are waiting for you."

"I believe that." she replied.

"You are to wait in this town for a man. He will seek you out, and you will go with him." She nodded. "You have been chosen for this task because you are a strong person, one that will help this man keep to his path. You also have great abilities. Your child like heart lets you see what most can not. Do not be afraid to face the demons as you find them. They may be able to hurt your body, but they will not touch your soul."

"Demons?"

"Yes, demons. There is a battle here on earth. Read Revelations and take it to heart. You have been chosen to fight."

"Fighting for this earth is pointless." she said looking down.

"You will be fighting to keep Lucifer in hell!" snapped Castiel. He took her chin in one hand and gently tilted her head back up to look him in the face. "There are things worth fighting for on this earth. Think about all the good people there are, all the innocent children. You must find the will to fight. You are needed."

"Then I will fight for the sake of the innocent." she replied moved by his words.

"Good. I can give you this gift." He put his fingers to her forehead. She closed her eyes and felt a warmth rush over her. When she felt his fingers leave her she opened her eyes. "Now you have the ability to see into the future, but only as far as God wants you to, and the demons will fear you greatly for with God's name you can command demons to leave the body of an innocent and send them back to hell. Also there will be people you are meant to save and others you are not. Rejoice in the living, but do not despair over the dead." She nodded. "This gift is not given freely though. You are to pray and mind your sins. I will let you know now that if you have premarital sex with any man, especially the one coming for you, you will lose your gift." She nodded and looked down knowing that any man could complicate that if she fell for him. When she looked up again Castiel was gone.

Dean woke up to find Castiel sitting at the edge of the bed.

"I thought we talked about this." he snapped.

"Go to Texas. In a small town called Pipe Creek, out side of San Antonio, there is a person waiting for you. Her name is Eve. She has been given gifts of a prophet and will help you."

"So God makes hook ups?" said Dean chuckling.

"If you have premarital sex with her she will lose her gift, and be just an ordinary woman."

"Okay? So how do I recognize her?"

"You will know her when you see her, and she will know you. Do this alone." Dean looked over to the other bed in the room at Sam, who was fast asleep. Then he looked back to Castiel who was gone. Dean grumbled as he got out of bed. He took a piece of hotel paper and wrote a note and left on the bedside table next to Sam.

He grabbed his things and left in the Impala. It was just now dawn.
